It's great to see John not be full on pissed off 24/7 these days. He really has a brilliant sense of humour and is addictive to listen to. He never fails to entertain and finally in his old age, it's great to see him happy and enjoying life. God knows he deserves it.
The interviewer is really good. Feeds clear, conversation creating questions, and lets the interviewee talk freely. Doesn't try to talk over him, and complements what he says. Very good, and how it should be.
Oh Johnny...definitely the best. I just LOVE listening to him talk about stuff, no matter what is. It's always great. He was the only reason I watched I'mma Celebrity that one year and once he left, so did I.
"it ain't for me to tell 'em - "pick up a flag and stand for something" - if they don't want to represent anything decent in their lives, well; a lousy, poxy existence is ultimately what you will achieve." John Lydon you are the man.
Absolutely love Johnny. The most fascinating, authentic, talented charismatic, kind hearted, intelligent and absolutely gorgeous rock star on the planet. The only time I watched I'm a celebrity from the start to finish, well until John walked out, I lost interest after that as he was the most interesting person in there. My handsome hero ❤❤❤
He is right ! i was bought up in working class Lancashire during the 60 s 70 s and the community i experienced has now gone....! The pubs gone....Gastro bars !
I didn't know his mum was dead... As much as I have read, she was a great person. RIP. Annalisa... I absolutely love that song, and that whole first album. The whole thing both is punk and is not, and what a great mix of those!
Johnny has to have an opinion about just about absolutely everything at any given time, even if he ends up contradicting himself later at least he never sat on the fence about anything and has the bollocks to say it
He grates on my nerves. How a man at his age can still behave like a pre-pubescent orphan brat with resentment issues is beyond me. If it's all an act, it's become a tired stereotype.
fictitiousarts Why because he believes in what he has always done ???? and Not opted into main stream "as a man of his age ought" when you are middle age you might just have enough integrity to honor the inner you instead of Society limitations !!!
5:23 'ill murder them (tories) finally'. Hope he bloody well does! Scared me when he said he might vote for tories (most un-working class party ever) but then i felt bad for doubting him. Course he wouldnt. Johnny Lydon=Legend!!!!
I love him. He can be a prick, but it's always to the people that deserve it. He's the punk rocking saint of the left-wing (alongside joe strummer of course).
I suggest you check out "john lydon scrapbook" on losangelestimes channel. He doesnt drink at all during tours these days, no doubt he enjoys a good piss up, as do I. The last thing he is, is dependant on any stimulants, and as alcohol is a depressant, it's fairly obvious that aint no alcoholic...Dont mean no disrespect to you, but your suspicions are completely without foundation
@HereComestheRain012 it's not personal taste when he hasn't even heard a pil record before and he's saying they have 3 good songs. i like some of psycho's path too and i LOVE world destruction by time zone.
END of Interview Robbie Williams both ends of a pantomime horse Spot On John Robbie Williams The charity shop CD champion of all time 29 pence each for a full discog ... Very much overpriced I would use his cds as motorway balast mulch like they did with the mills and boon books Never trust a Man with no lips
@kcirdrab 3 good songs? yeah, i bet you heard the records flowers of romance, metal box, album, first issue, right kid? sure you have. 3 good songs... hahaha. funny stuff.

What an absolute joy to hear John so on form, I wish he had a video blog with a weekly comment on the world - he'd certainly have me as a subscriber.
Could listen to Lydon speak all day. One of a kind legend
The interviewer is really good. Feeds clear, conversation creating questions, and lets the interviewee talk freely. Doesn't try to talk over him, and complements what he says. Very good, and how it should be.
I agree. Two intelligent men speaking there.
Oh Johnny...definitely the best. I just LOVE listening to him talk about stuff, no matter what is. It's always great. He was the only reason I watched I'mma Celebrity that one year and once he left, so did I.
Me too, I lost interest after John walked out. He was the only interesting person in the show. He is awesome isn't he? My favourite rock star.
John is brilliant.
The interviewer is most decent from the rest I've seen so far. Not interrupting John Rotten and paying attention to the things he says :]
"My wife comes first". Well said ♥
INTELLIGENT INTERVIEW
When was the last time you saw those two words put together
GOOD JOB CHRISTIAN
Nothing like having beer for breakfast with John, too fucking funny!
"the class process is still here in a creepy kind of undercurrent way"
an absolutely true statement.he's damn right
Great interview. My unfamiliarity with British slang meant that I had to listen to it twice to fully understand it. Har!
"it ain't for me to tell 'em - "pick up a flag and stand for something" - if they don't want to represent anything decent in their lives, well; a lousy, poxy existence is ultimately what you will achieve."

Hello poor people
Johns right about the creepy English class system still sucking us dry
"What constitutes a sell out?"
Mick Jones replied: "Well, I guess that's when all the tickets have been sold!" (or something along those lines).
my hero!
"It molded me into the full rounded character I am"......."So I've got nuthin to complain really....cheers"......
Why can't we interview cool people like this in America?
Johnny has to have an opinion about just about absolutely everything at any given time, even if he ends up contradicting himself later at least he never sat on the fence about anything and has the bollocks to say it
John 'Rotten' Lydon for P.M.
I like John he is who he is...
He grates on my nerves. How a man at his age can still behave like a pre-pubescent orphan brat with resentment issues is beyond me. If it's all an act, it's become a tired stereotype.

The only musician i can compare him to is Ginger Baker
fictitiousarts
How would you have him act?
Nothing should be open on Christmas Day. Now that's the new punk.
Brilliant Sir John?
Love johnny 👍👍👍👍😉🙏🇮🇪
"I don't have any heros, they're all useless"
John is a star he is brilliant he says it how it is, no red tape or PC Bollox
5:23 'ill murder them (tories) finally'. Hope he bloody well does! Scared me when he said he might vote for tories (most un-working class party ever) but then i felt bad for doubting him. Course he wouldnt. Johnny Lydon=Legend!!!!
He's both ends of the horse lol. What a legend!
No se lo que quiero pero si como conseguirlo
Why did John think that Delia Smith was dead?
at 4:21 he says "quaff a ???"?
Sane as drink or sip. Mostly used by posh people
1978punk
Yeah but what does he say after that? What does he like to quaff? Something in French?
He said beaujolais - A french wine from the Beaujolais area. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beaujolais
1978punk
i see, many thanks
sockington1 Lol you mad bruh?
So Poptones and Annalisa are about the same girl ?
check out the 'i.t' worker over johnny's shoulder, oblivious to a legend just yards away.
I love him. He can be a prick, but it's always to the people that deserve it. He's the punk rocking saint of the left-wing (alongside joe strummer of course).
Somebody more interesting than the music they make.

Fucking Brilliant
I wonder if he's a friend of M.C. Too Tall.
That's the Boomtown Rats, John. "Don't believe what you read!"
@HereComestheRain012 it's not personal taste when he hasn't even heard a pil record before and he's saying they have 3 good songs. i like some of psycho's path too and i LOVE world destruction by time zone.
Had no idea John was booked on the Lockerbie bombing flight.
Yep, that would keep me unable to sleep for months if I'd ever been in that position.
@misfitsfan28 Apology accepted and nobody got hurt, thank you.
7.05.8.05 Spot on!
@intenzez pil is not kinda good. they ARE good. great in fact.
I don't vote at all. I have refused to do that since the 90's.
Don´t believe what you read! Believe in me ! ;-) this man ....
He’s a lovey now..but he’d be a good politician..
@Photonzos
Your comment is boring.
@surferdudette19
Agreed. But he's trying desperately to out-funny Lydon, which is impossible of course.
victim or a thief of NEVER?
what exactly does jonny stand for? he's a confused man.
END of Interview Robbie Williams both ends of a pantomime horse
Spot On John
Robbie Williams The charity shop CD champion of all time 29 pence each for a full discog ...
Very much overpriced
I would use his cds as motorway balast mulch like they did with the mills and boon books
Never trust a Man with no lips

John still looks hot
LOL swine-bars
goodinterview but JL is becoming like a daft uncle
It seems he's only nice and chatty like this when the person giving the interview isn't a complete sack of shit.
