Essentially he can initiate the dodge bash immediately instead of having to dodge the attack and then hit the bash button to punish. This is especially useful against characters that have a quick feint to GB as this will let you avoid the attack AND the feint to GB in most situations.
Basically, Lawbringer (and Conq) got a buff to their side dodge bashes that lets them actually counter heavy/GB mixups. They used to lose dodge I-frames 100 ms into their side bash, which is the same timing that their GB invulnerability would start up. That means that before, they either had to read that the opponent would throw the heavy and delay their bash to dodge it, or read that they would feint to GB and bash as fast as possible to stuff the GB attempt. They had one to pick one or the other, not both. Now though, they get more side movement and i-frames until 300ms into the bash, meaning they can actually dodge the heavy and stuff the GB all on one timing. It may seen small, but it's a massive buff that fixes one of the main problems the hero had defensively.

Jon honestly what do you think about the shove light, i know it’s strong but do you think it’s healthy for the character? I think it makes lawbringer less unique because his combos are so much easier to get, you dont have to work for it so much.
would've made more sense for it to be a viking skin. lord shaxx (the guy the skin is based off) read about vikings and made his armor reflect them because he liked them

It's pretty cool how For Honor™ made a collab with Destiny. These new hero skins are really cool. Also, the sword exe is called "Solar Flare" being one of Warlock's ultimates, if not mistaken. And the bow is called "Voidfeather" being one of the Hunter's ultimates. Hope this helps and as always, awesome video 👍

the bow execution is hunter shadowshot and the sword is warlock dawnbreaker. dawnbreaker was added in destiny 2 and replaced sunsinger
