Psychological abuse, harassment, controlling, hospitalized her to not let her leave him, made her seem crazy to try to control her, posted topless photos of her to humiliate her, and I would not be suprised if he recorded a "home video" without her knowledge, threatened to leak it, and IF she did "X" herself, he drove her to it. He needs to be treated like the girl who convinces her boyfriend to "X" himself.

I went through restraining order and it got crazier and scary by the minute and it lasted longer than I expected/ tires people coming to my house. It was very scary people following me and my brother was there. I was never alone. We had a plan. Other mail friends were there. I mean this was serious and people took it serious. My brother came from out of state at one time just to help put up cameras you name it. I mean we got a gun. You got to do what you got to do when it is that bad. So I wonder the same thing. Like where was her family? I'm not blaming anybody. I'm really really confused? I think when stories become really highlighted there is good because there needs to be awareness but I think we often lose context and details. I heard she was married before. Is that true? So did she leave her husband for a JP? I heard she had an affair with JP in her early twenties, so by then I mean you're not 14. To be able to get away with abuse because you can say your spouse is mentally unwell is so disgusting. And its sad that people buy into it. It's another level of abuse.
This case is kinda strange. I mean countless women/men including myself have been abused, groomed, gaslit, stolen from, lied to, cheated on, committed to psychiatric care, controlled, you name it BUT at least in my case, I had to love myself and my family enough to leave my abuser and never look back. I lost everything but I saved my own life. No one was gonna do it for me. I was psychotic and sought help for myself. I wanted to live. I’m sorry that she felt she had no way out. She actually did and had a lot to live for. Abused or not, when you decide to end your life that is a choice only you are responsible for making. It’s really a shame cause she could have turned this whole thing around in 1 year if she had given herself the chance.

Thank you. I concur. I have been through the ringer myself. But My family was there, And friends and you do get to the point where you would rather lose everything just to live. I didn't fight for assets. I didn't care anymore. I didn't care how many times I had to go to court to get that restraining order. I fought. There is something about being at that point where you don't care if your abuser/toxic partner wins. You Just want to live. I didn't care if I was broke and living in a car I wanted to live. I didn't care if he won everything. The house the car you name it. You just decide it doesn't matter. I did not care if I had to change my identity and move. I wasn't going to let him win. I did not care if my divorce fell through. I was going to keep fighting for it even if it took 10 years. So I think there's a lot of missing pieces to this story. Am I saying she wasn't groomed? I don't know. I heard she was married before JP and that JP and her had an affair and they got married when she was in her twenties. When you're in your twenties versus when you're 14, it's a big difference. So did she leave her ex husband for JP etc. So many missing pieces. People are saying she had a previous suicide attempt that she testified to. I don't know. I just scratching my head here. Sometimes when we leave toxic situations our eyes are open and we read a lot of books or we're suddenly on blogs and you know we start to almost diagnose ourselves or look back and realize maybe I was gaslit or I was groomed and it takes a minute to come out of the fog. So I'm with you on this. It's kind of strange, however it's absolutely tragic.
She didn't have any kids with him so I don't know. I wonder if she was trying to go after spousal support maybe or assets. I'm not saying that she didn't have a right to but I wonder about all these things. You know like you said sometimes you just want to be free and at that point just say you win. I know in certain States it doesn't matter if you don't want any of the assets. It doesn't matter if the other person is in show for court. It's going to be finalized in 6 months. I really hope Mica’s family can sue for mental and emotional distress because of JP’s actions… Maybe not just suing him personally but the church as well now with this evidence? Even though she pulled the trigger on herself, she would’ve never had that thought if it weren’t for JP and maybe the church. Her life outside of JP was completely normal. Now it has caused distress on Mica’s family and friends. If JP claimed Mica had a mental health issue and was never clinically diagnosed with a mental health issue and was good enough to even leave the mental institution, she was not mentally ill. JP lied about her health, which is illegal.
JP had trackers on Mica's car and private investigators following her. He likely knew she was planning to get a gun to defend herself because that is what she told her family. Wire tapping is illegal but easy enough for an investigator to set up. He waited until she bought a gun then arranged for her "suicide." The FBI is investigating and hopefully they find out who was involved in her murder. JP was served with divorce papers 2 days before her death.
On NewsNation today, her sister made it clear that JP’s “grooming” started when Mica was “around 14-15”, not 10.

Her sister said its not 10 years old, but the year 2010.
Her sister didn't seem to know how to answer that question. She says she thinks she meant 2010. So it's still not clear cuz when they asked her sister so was she 14 about that time her sister couldn't answer.

@@jlcole300 I’ve survived narcissistic abuse too but when you commit suicide that is solely a decision you make on your own. It’s jus one of those things you have to keep fighting if you want to live. I had to educate myself on what I was experiencing. Loved ones kept me safe. I went to inpatient psych for 3 nights. There are ways to gain control over your life. I wish she had believed in herself more. It’s incredible scary but the human spirit is powerful and can overcome great obstacles. Sounds like you know this as well as I do.
