this video helped me a lot since i first watched it, i've been lowering my sensi gradually until i reach what seems to be the best sensi for me today, 800dpi and 4.5 in game, it's crazy to think that before warzone I played with 42,000 eDPI.
Easy one of the best UA-cam/warzone creator and ridiculously underrated. I like how you change your “tone” about invert mouse setting. And yes, i am 42! Definitely gonna do some tuning in my mouse settings and try love it a bit. Maybe few eDPI per week so it won’t be too much to deal with on a day one.
Appreciate the kind words! I used to play around 30cm and over the period of about 3 months I slowly decreased until I got to 54cm, and then decided to go back to 49 and have been here for quite a while. Try making 5-10% changes at a time so it’s not too abrupt!
this video helped me a lot. At short distances it was good but bad at long distances, now at long distances I have much better aim. I was a low sens player until 2 weeks ago. From that moment I play with 8 sens and 800 dpi, my reaction and tracking improved enormously, I don't worry about the recoil of weapons either since recoil is much easier and tracking is easier, my hand doesn't get tired either. In summary, muscle memory does not tire with high sensing and I improve tracking over long distances and it is no longer difficult for me to control recoil. it is best not to copy any sens or fov from anyone. to feel comfortable. Def. going for the sweet spot of 1600DPI with an in-game sense between 2-3.
This video needs more recognition! There is alot that you cover here that is very niche but you answered every question I had. I've been playing mw2019 on 17.00 at 800 dpi and I've found that sens does not translate as well to other games and hurts my overall accuracy.

Great aim is subjective to a player that has defined the way they play and have adjusted their sensitivity that allows them to hit their target efficiently. It has more to do with discovering between a wrist aimer and an arm aimer.
At 09:40 you said 0.75 ADS multipler is 75% slower than leaving it at the default 1 value. Most likely you mis-worded but thought I'd clear it up by saying its 25% slower not 75%. Informative vid nonetheless bro.
I used to play on crazy low sens when I only sniped in multiplayer cod games but find low sens too difficult to get team wipes on warzone so I'm on 1800 4 now.

It’s a confusing concept and there’s arguments for both ways, however I’ve always felt going with your actual monitor distance coeff (1.78) felt more natural to me

This helped me a lot with sensitivity! Been trying to find the right play for me and had been using 800 dpi with 7 sens but felt like it wasn't quite right. Tried 1600 dpi with 2.55 sens and somehow I performed better than before. Maybe I'm more comfortable with the new sens and dpi =)
I have learned 'in general' a high dpi setting means the player will have a low sens, and vice versa. For me personally, I'm on 1600 DPI, and was until couple days ago a 12 in game mouse sens. I dropped it to a 10.82. So far I'm liking it alot more.
A year later, Cap's vid popped up. I look at the comments to see I made one lol. Yes, I have been playin around with sens alot and think I've finally settled on 5 sens exactly. Was going as low as 3 but it was to slow for my liking for flicks etc. So I upped it to 5 and so far am liking it. I also do play around with the ads sens. I've dropped down to .70 but mostly go around .85. I think atm I'm 1.00 I've tried going back to 8 or 9 even and it's insane how fast it is for me now. Call of duty is a controller game at the end of the day. 9 of the top 10 earning players in warzone play on controller. Learning keyboard is very hard at first. Aiming on mouse isn’t super hard to be decent at but takes 100s of hours to be adept at. But, when I switched to mouse and keyboard it was like a whole new experience and it was a lot of fun learning!
What about MDC at 0 ? Also I tried low sens and couldn't get used to it. Im on 800 dpi now with 6.3 (pieman is on 6.1) so it's on the higher end but not too crazy. Gonna change to 1600 dpi and 3.15 sens after this vid 👍
your video is very informative and i’m thankful for it. But in the video you said keeping your ads multiplier at 1 is best because of muscle memory with your hip fire. your hip fire and ads sens is never 1:1 unless you play legacy, even then that only applies with 1x scopes.
It is and it isn’t… lol. Relative will make your ADS ‘feel’ as if it’s 1:1 despite the change in FOV with different level scopes. Your cm/360 will change on relative when ADS’d but the rotation speed will be the same.
i always played with 5000 dpi and 10 ingame sens and wondered why aiming takes so much skill to handle recoil lol. ill try less dpi but i really love the fast playstyle
Great video. I'm currently using 1600 DPI and 2,8 sens, so my eDPI is like around 4800 I think. But I have my ADS sensitivity at 0.70, so when I aim it's like 3200. I was watching videos because I wanted to low the ADS sensitivity even more. I've noticed sometimes I missed too much hits so I wanted to try a low ADS sens. The reason to low the ADS sens instead leaving it at 1, it's because I don't really have a lot of space to move my mouse, and for me, movement it's very important, so with this I have the best of the two worlds. In one hand, I have very quick movement without having to move my mouse too much, but in another hand, when I ADS my aim is way better precise. I just want to know your opinion. It's true that sometimes, having two diferent sens it can be tricky, like the example you said in the video, but isn't it great to have great, fast movement without having to move your mouse a lot, and at the same time, have great and precise control on your aim?

Actually, yesterday I've tried with 1:1, 1,82 sens, so around 2900 eDPI, and I get used to it very quick so I just started playing all afternoon with that sens at 1:1 and I felt pretty good :)
When I first switched to lowish sens about a year ago I struggled massively at first and my arm actually got sore lmao I used to be on 9 sens 800 dpi now I'm on 5.76 800dpi which is around 30-31cm I don't know the exact decimal tho and I've improved massively

Less margin for error on faster sense especially at longer ranges. Some people are amazing on very high sense tho so if that's u then stick to it. High sense can be an advantage for flicks if youre good with it

I am confused. i play on sensitivity 10 and I tried to do 2 and is very very slow. is it possible thst my 10 sensitivity could be the same movement as someone with 2 sensitive if our DPI is different
He's better now on higher though. less passive with better reactive tracking. I mean that's why he changed. Low sensitivity has a higher skill floor but lower skill ceiling so at some point it's better to build more mouse control and improve as a player on something higher
So I have good aim with reg guns and my sense feels great but when I snipe it's way to slow I messed with my zoom multiplier put the 4x to 1.30 and Hugh zoom to 1.40 and it made me hit more shots especially flicks cuz I always under flicked when I messed with sniping
Same way it effects your regular hipfire sens. Higher dpi would mean a faster ADS sens also, and vice versa. If your ADS multiplier is 1.0, your hipfire sens will be the same as your ADS sens
@@TCaptainX Exactly with the close quater gun fights using stims and everything you need to be able to react and flick to the right-left without being overwhelmed with that crazy 1 meter flick on low sens if the guy shows up like in your face slide canceling with stims. 3200 edpi is perfect. Regarding lower than that, i'd say for the average player lower than that might be good if they don't play agressive and like to stay still and snipes, 2200-2400 edpi is perfect for them. For sweaty players that loves to push teams 3200 edpi is the way man :P
Well I don’t suggest that big of a monitor for fps gaming, and I can’t tell based off just the size. Like I said in the video, horizontal resolution divided by vertical res = monitor coeff
so I am on a 32:9 Odyysey G9 (5120x1440) and having trouble with my monitor distance coefficient after switching from 16:9 (2560x1440). 5120/1440 = 3.56 which is unplayable, I assume because it is compensating for the whole width of the monitor when really it should not be. 1.33 also feels way too fast vs before, so given there is 50% extra viewing area on either side of the monitor, I cut that in half to .67 which feels ok but I'm not sure if that is correct. I would really appreciate any advice you may have. Also, I know 1.33 was incorrect for a 2560x1440 monitor, but it just always felt the best to me so that is what I am looking to find an "equivalent" of
I mean if you’re playing full screen on an aspect ratio of 32:9, nothing is going to feel right. That’s a very unnatural aspect ratio for FPS. In all honesty, you might be better to play windowed and bring it down to an aspect ratio of 16:9 which would feel more natural
For some reason I can’t use a lower sens I switched from 700dpi and 9.28 in game sens and 0.52 ads to 1600 dpi 2.5sens but it just felt extremely slow so I had to up it to 4.06 I made the ads sens 0.75 I can just use the same hip fire and ads
helped a lot but one thing that bugs me is polling rate on my mouse i have it on 1000 but it changes sensitivity when i adjust it, is there any reason to use the other polling rates or just leave it on 1000 ?
I found it better lowering mine to 5.7cm/360 i used to play around 2.88/360. played at 1/360 for about a year. i dunno. i'm comfortable where i'm at. though trying to use the same sens in apex seems more difficult then cod. ttk and movement speed may be the factor

Thanks! I wouldn’t advise using 0 coeff because your sens will be inconsistent as you get to the edge of your screen

It take a while to get used to for sure, but I don’t believe in MDC of 0 because it will create inconsistencies in flicking and tracking

I wasn't sure but I knew I played on a ridiculously high sense. 1600 DPI 4.50 Sensitivity in warzone. Every other game I play is as similar as I can get it. I do quite well with it but does anyone have any other suggestions? Should I perhaps lower it?
Honestly that’s not that bad. If you’re comfortable with it, stick with it!

if you do some tests 1.78 overshoots compared to hip fire. I think cods coefficient is broke and thats why most pros use the 1.33 default.

I am confused. i play on sensitivity 10 and I tried to do 2 and is very very slow. is it possible thst my 10 sensitivity could be the same movement as someone with 2 sensitive if our DPI is different
You need to change your dpi to 1600 if you want to match my sens

He's better now on higher though. less passive with better reactive tracking. I mean that's why he changed. Low sensitivity has a higher skill floor but lower skill ceiling so at some point it's better to build more mouse control and improve as a player on something higher
1 of the best kbm players is recrent. He's a Russian pro that won multiple twitch rivals in Europe, I'd say he's probably top 1 player in Europe.
So I have good aim with reg guns and my sense feels great but when I snipe it's way to slow I messed with my zoom multiplier put the 4x to 1.30 and Hugh zoom to 1.40 and it made me hit more shots especially flicks cuz I always under flicked when I messed with sniping

i dont understand, if more dpi= less latency, why not crank it up to like 2000 or something and have the ingame sense be low

Anything beyond 1600 dpi doesn’t reduce the latency much more. But there is a big difference from 400 to 1600 dpi

How does your dpi effect your ads (aim down sight) sensitivity?
Same way it effects your regular hipfire sens. Higher dpi would mean a faster ADS sens also, and vice versa.
If your ADS multiplier is 1.0, your hipfire sens will be the same as your ADS sens

@@TCaptainX Exactly with the close quater gun fights using stims and everything you need to be able to react and flick to the right-left without being overwhelmed with that crazy 1 meter flick on low sens if the guy shows up like in your face slide canceling with stims. 3200 edpi is perfect. Regarding lower than that, i'd say for the average player lower than that might be good if they don't play agressive and like to stay still and snipes, 2200-2400 edpi is perfect for them. For sweaty players that loves to push teams 3200 edpi is the way man :P

Well I don’t suggest that big of a monitor for fps gaming, and I can’t tell based off just the size.

if low sens is beter is it bad if i play on 4k DPI an like 13.00 sens in game?
so I am on a 32:9 Odyysey G9 (5120x1440) and having trouble with my monitor distance coefficient after switching from 16:9 (2560x1440). 5120/1440 = 3.56 which is unplayable, I assume because it is compensating for the whole width of the monitor when really it should not be. 1.33 also feels way too fast vs before, so given there is 50% extra viewing area on either side of the monitor, I cut that in half to .67 which feels ok but I'm not sure if that is correct. I would really appreciate any advice you may have. Also, I know 1.33 was incorrect for a 2560x1440 monitor, but it just always felt the best to me so that is what I am looking to find an "equivalent" of
I mean if you’re playing full screen on an aspect ratio of 32:9, nothing is going to feel right. That’s a very unnatural aspect ratio for FPS. In all honesty, you might be better to play windowed and bring it down to an aspect ratio of 16:9 which would feel more natural

For some reason I can’t use a lower sens I switched from 700dpi and 9.28 in game sens and 0.52 ads to 1600 dpi 2.5sens but it just felt extremely slow so I had to up it to 4.06 I made the ads sens 0.75 I can just use the same hip fire and ads

Yes, 1.33 is default but incorrect for most monitors. It will create inconsistent aiming as you move towards the edge of your screen

helped a lot but one thing that bugs me is polling rate on my mouse i have it on 1000 but it changes sensitivity when i adjust it, is there any reason to use the other polling rates or just leave it on 1000 ?
that should not be changing your sens. sounds like its changing your dpi instead

I found it better lowering mine to 5.7cm/360 i used to play around 2.88/360. played at 1/360 for about a year. i dunno. i'm comfortable where i'm at. though trying to use the same sens in apex seems more difficult then cod. ttk and movement speed may be the factor
You are talking about sensitivity not cm/360.
i play 4000 DPI and 1.30212 at warzone like ( 26.6cm) and 5208.48 edpi
