Tell me. Why do you guys call that "a new album" there are only 2 new songs and some remakes on it. When I heard "EC's gonna release a new album" I thought: "Oh ma gash yeah!" but now: "Wow... I thought there gonna be some new songs...". I love you band, but I want to hear some new songs. I've heard every EC song about 1000 time, but now I want some new songs...
MrHealINC For new songs they need John Falls to do the vocals, but he's the reason the band broke up so most likely there won't be any new songs after this. But the drummer and the bassist did create a new band called Devour the Day so that's the closest you're going to get for new songs by the same artist. But John cans get new players for EC, but that most likely won't happen.
MrHealINC A better detailed reason why they broke is because John was to lazy to work with the band. Joey and Blake kept calling him to get him to record, John said he would each time but he never did anything. So eventually Joey and Blake had enough of it so they quit EC and formed DTD. This is basically a summary of what Blake and Joey said in an interview with a radio station. And I think Blake said at on point the song "Respect" by DTD are hist feelings in this whole situation. The reason why the guitarist Jeff James left, I don't think they have really talked about it. All I know about Jeff is that he toured with DTD for a little bit, then quit for some reason. That's pretty much all I know.
What's with California Dreams/Raise The Gates or whatever you call this song? I've only heard it on some live videos and this is probably one of your best songs..
It's a demo, the music sounds a little different, and there is no autotunage in the vocals. This is there final album, and all four of them haven't worked on anything new so they're just going with what they haven't released. Ya know for the fans.
