Korn is now a legendary band,
Starting in the early 90s and since, korn were pioneers of what was dubbed, "the nu metal" movement of the late 90s and because of which, they were casted into this set genre.
However anyone with a brain and a love of the band, knows that they have grown and their sound has evolved not only because they wanted it to, but also because they needed it to.
I say who wants to hear the same shit for 14 albums, not I. I love them, started listening during the mainstream hype with follow the leader back in 99 but I stuck with them ever since, through their worse and best times and am happy I've done so even with the disdain of all the "haters".
They really are my generations pink Floyd or the cure or zeppelin or whatever you want to say and they're here to stay. Pardon the pun, but it's true, I love them and have so many periods of my life with them as the sound track and I can't imagine how shitty my life would be if it wasn't for them, I owe a debt I'll never be able to repay, im sure they'd be fine with it.
Sorry so long, it's just those who criticize korn for the sound change can kiss my ass. They still and always will sound like korn, no one else. Whether with head, with out. Whether with David or Rey, and yes I do miss the funky-Ness of David's jazzy drums but Rey is a hell of a drummer in his own right, and I'd much rather have what we've gotten through all these years rather than have korn become just a nostalgic memory of my teen years
