I want this rated, even though I may not like sonic wave that much, you can’t call this sonic wave, it is a sequel, not a remake, 2 different thing, it is it’s own level and as it stands as it’s own level, I like it very much
This level literally came out of nowhere. I was so hyped for this level and the verification just went under the radar and I didn’t see the level until I watched a npesta stream archive
Nah it's deco isn't the best compared to the other less difficult levels and game play is the same a regular sw just without the NC wave effect and deco is all the same. Compared to other NC levels it's very low amoung them.

Also whilst the gameplay formula is the same as sonic wave, it's still very different in the actual click patterns.
I remember riot tweeting back in april saying that apteam's cosmic cyclone would no longer be the official one and that cirtrax would be the one to make that... idk if he's changed his opinion on that since though cause he said the same thing about apt's swi at the same time
Riots word means nothing when all he does is get others to host and create his levels for him For example, riot barely did any work on tartarus and has done nothing with acheron except upload icedcave's showcase onto his channel, the brunt of the work for acheron was all by ryamu and for tartarus it was all aurorus
@@puli36 cosmic cyclone was still started by him and cyclic, and he had other people working on the level, while apteam just finished up a level with the same concept and uploaded it with the same name... he may not have worked on the level himself but he's still done more for this game than you or i ever will, and I feel like we should still respect his opinions on the level that he got started

This is a really cool level! I’m not nearly skilled enough to comment on the gameplay or anything like that, but the deco is awesome imo. That art at the end was immaculate too! GD creators never cease to amaze me with how they can use the jumpy cube game to make actual art in their levels. I was kinda surprised they didn’t use Sonic Blaster for the song, but pleasantly so! I like Sonic Blaster, don’t get me wrong, but this song was a great pick!
3:46 reason theres invis objects is because it's horrnedous to play without them and this part is really bad in general, so im glad they are there because when i played a newer copy of it before it got decorated it was literally aids to play.

what is aeon on about with the wave being a difficulty spike? that's the POINT, for the predrop to NOT be as difficult cuz it's just a buildup and then the drop is where shit is supposed to hit the fan idk why gd players act like every part of a level always has to be the exact same difficulty to one another I mean yeah balanced levels are great but it was literally SUPPOSED to get harder at the drop
@@gerard2749 whether a level should be balanced or not depends on the level. there are also different ways you can balance. You can make the drop where the music hits a bit harder than the rest, you can make the level gradually ramp up in difficulty as it goes on and have the ending be the most intense and hardest part; (eg. deception dive) or if you wanna ruin your level and make it shit, you can have random difficulty spikes at random throughout the level which is always gonna be garbage and make the level suck
I'd place this level around the 45 mark on the list, harder than sonic wave cuz 4x speed but about the same width of hitbox as SW. also 45 because now we have like 5 new top 20s
I find it really strange that you don't like the apocalyptic trilogy decoration wise. Sure, the gameplay might be buffed and weird, but the deco is just objectively good.
Visually, it's cool. It doesn't use NC effect at all, not even modern nc, it's just a stroby extended wave part, and I respect that. BUT WHY THE HELL DO WE HAVE ANOTHER SONIC WAVE. Was like 6 not enough????
With the original decoration in Sonic Wave its hard to even think this is the sequel.With all the modern and fancy decoration and affects,I feel they should have kept the decoration somewhat similar to the original.Im only saying this cause it's hard to believe that a level this fancy is the sequel to the original Sonic Wave

I feel like we need more top 50 levels, like around bloodlust difficulty at most because bloodlust, rust, plasma pulse finale, cosmic cyclone (now) all great levels, the top 10, slaughterhouse, Arcturus and Bharat machine are nothing good and zodiac is mediocre at best visuals wise, people put more effort into harder levels but not the hatdest
which is a good thing, because nc demons that hard tend to be flat out annoying instead of anything remotely fun, such as swi which is the worst top 10

Cosmic Cyclone is one of the best NC in the game
