- DECEMBER 21, 2019: Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh is home! This morning, accompanied by her parents, Chairman of the Miss World Organisation, Julia Morley, and Culture Minister Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange, a press conference was held with members from the media at the Pegasus Hotel.
She is not only beautiful but intelligent, modest, caring, sharing, full of class and character but most importantly considerate of others. A true princess is born.
She is a slap in the face of RACISM!
Look at her eyes. Old time Jamaican people would always say, by her eyes you can tell she is bright( brilliant, smart)!!! You go girl.
Toni-Ann is beautiful, but her eloquence, un-canned, spontaneous answers, smile and laughter, is the best I witnessed in many moons. Congratulation.

I love when madam Julia Morley speaks about miss world & its comparison to miss universe... Both pageants are different that's why they are alphas in different aspects. It is like two departments (miss world & miss universe) however miss universe is divided into different commissions or bureaus which are (miss earth, miss supra, miss grand & miss international)..
About miss Toni Ann, she is for me the best miss world because her beauty is not a typical queen. She is so sweet girl with full of emotions, talent & full of good personality, and that separates her apart from other miss world queens. Though miss Megan young our very own miss world is really great too.
If only Madison Anderson won Miss universe that year I might love more the diversity of alpha queens. Both from Caribbean as well

And despite not wearing sunscreen and being exposed to direct sunlight almost constantly those women's skin still age 10-20 years slower than their white, latina, and Indian counterparts. Don't stir up strife where there is none. Morley said nothing wrong. She gave Jamaica credit but highlighted that there are sometimes negative publicity that may deter some tourists from coming. As a Jamaican who lives abroad, I know that what she is saying is true because I have heard it first hand. But that was just a very small part of the discussion. Why try to turn this into something negative?
