finished the manga and MAJOR SPOILER : She's one of the cause of why hina, anzu (and the girl in the beginning of episode 1) exists, her and the vocalist of that one band Hina got joined when she was banned from the house. Years later when she in 30 years old, she's already a worldwide renowed successful trillionaire (she achieved this around college age, advancing smartphone & AI). Ever since the concert with Hina, the vocalist of Central Park, namely Atshuhi got infatuated by the concept of Rocksion (Rock-illusion) and want to re-live the experience. So he travels around the world, he met with the third girl, named Mao, in a temple in China, eventually have a coup, established a superhuman training center, 15 years later they merge their business with Hitomi, got into research facility, creating superhumans/espers, one of which is Hina, Anzu, and Mao (from the clone), yeah this is a time paradox story. Hitomi herself is heavily hinted to ended up with Nitta (from the manga ending), she confirmed her feelings for him around chapter 88 in the manga. She started developing this feeling around that one arc (before chapter 88) when she and Nitta got into a rivalry over taking over some business tender, she's a though opponent but Nitta managed to beat him fair and square scoring the contract, his ambitions and determination when he got serious caught into her feelings. At that time, originally she mistook it for a fatherly love, but couple years later she realize it which result in the confirmation when she is in the bathtub with Hina at Ch. 88. Hina herself grew to be more expressive and exude cool but still cute aura. She can gain money easily if she want to, one of the evident is when she took a part time job as a maid for a caffee to buy new game console. At the ending she attend a gaming school along with one guy friend from the middle-school days (forget his name but he's into Hitomi), determined to create VMMORPG device. She actually also have her own romance, with a son of another senior Yakuza member called Hitoshi. Hitoshi is a nice guy but sort of like Nitta, always got the end of the short stick. Utako the bartender become less and less relevant as the story progressed. She rarely got a screen time and arc dedicated to her. Reduced into just a comic/satire character. Much like the Oyabun who love Hina like her own grand daughter, Nitta also the same with Anzu who he views as an ideal daughter. He went as far as to support her Ramen business in any way he can, including eating there 3 times each week after going from the superhuman fitness center (yeah he regularly train with sabu (his minion) with mao as his instructor there). She inherited the ramen business from her surrogate parents, they split for a while because the ramen shop got taken by other businesses, anzu got the ramen cart, eventually managed to grew enough to ask for loan to Nitta to re-build the shop somewhere else, reuniting the foster parents. Sad most of the story and characters are cut in the anime version, which is I believe is the reason why we are most likely are not getting season 2.
not sasha but more like rico , you know that one girl with the glasses from the garrison. this show is surprisingly good , the jokes are fun and the serious parts are actually tear jerker like mao's journey to japan or anzu's character development.
I love the subtle foreshadowing of the significance of the bar. They Bald Kid states that "Bars are where some stories begin." And Hitomi's crazy life basically started because of that bar
