Just Call Me Snooty Cas. Well I am glad of what your Mom did. She did the exact right thing and God Bless her. Oh. And I hope your Mom is still with us. God Bless.
There is actually no known case where a kid was killed by a stranger giving them candy on Halloween. The only one was actually the father in attempt to claim an insurance payout. So no you didn’t.
I once went to a famous footballer's birthday bash with my new Chinese boyfriend . And I was asked if I were the stripper by the birthday boy ! I was wearing a Chinese style dress , nothing revealing . That dress straight into the bin when I got home ! :D
Story 1: WTF. From that poor guy’s point of view he made a realistic Mike Myers costume with real knife, goes to a party, appears to make friends with some people and goes with them to buy booze. Then all of sudden they take his knife of him, threaten him with it, and chase him down the street. And they think he’s the creep.
Am I watching this at night? Yes. Am I still going to watch it even though it’s a school night? Yes. Will I still watch this knowing I will not fall asleep? Yes. Will I be paranoid all night? Yes.

Umm, you do realize that, statistically , “ mental patients” are amongst the LEAST violent! I’m getting sick of being labeled and accused. We are also, by and large, not stupid. In fact, far from.
And Michael Myers wasn’t mentally ill. He was inherently evil. Totally different. By the way, am I the only one who finds the entire Halloween franchise highly overrated ?!
23:22 I knew and went to the same highschool as Devon Griffin, Oak Harbor highschool. His online gamertag was purple people eater or something like that. I was also a gamer but was 2 or 3 years younger than Devon so we really never hung out. He was a pretty normal kid considering what happened to his entire family when he was younger. He was on the swim team, had a tight friend group and was generally pretty cool to talk too. I always felt so bad for the guy but really never knew the details about what actually happened until i was probably 17 or 18 and he had already graduated. Much love Devon, I hope you find happiness in your lifetime🤟
I really appreciate the true crime stories and the details of how cities are handling Halloween. I remember Chris Jenkins' story and you included a lot of details that I hadn't heard before. It is a very strange case.
Because the mask is actually based on a film which William Shatner starred in called Devils Rain. Its a misconception the mask is based on Captain Kirk, just the same actor but from a horror film.
Well the deer Park one explains a lot about my childhood... I grew up in Pasadena right on the deer Park Pasadena border... I was born in 92 my mom and dad were born in the 70s
Yeah that’s what I was thinking I was also born in 92 but my parents where born in the 60’s mother early 60’s and father late 60’s..your parents must of had you when they were teenagers ?
I'm from Texas and I have a lot of family in east Texas, especially Houston. I remember wondering why my mother was so careful about my trick or treating. It wasn't until I was a teenager that I learned the truth - Ronald O'Bryan. He's known as "The Man Who Killed Halloween." He's also believed to have possibly killed other kids, though there was no proof, and probably targeted his daughter Elizabeth, though she didn't eat the Pixy Stix. Evil monster. The other death row inmates called him "The Candyman." When I tell people about this nowadays, they don't believe me - then I Google it. They're always shocked.
Child killers in prison are looked at as the scum of the scum and guy is in prison love to kill guys like that so I bet he has had to spend all of his time looking over a shoulder and not closing his eyes in the shower because there are a lot of people who would want to get him for doing what he did to his own son And didn't he have life insurance on all of his children I wonder if he had an on his wife too maybe he could just get them all to eat the pixie sticks and go oh my God I'm the only one that didn't eat one fucking bastard
There have probably been more Shatner masks sold than anything else. Who knew that star track would ever give rise to one of the biggest horror icons of all time. That's always been my favorite fact about the movie Halloween.
The mask was actually based on one of William Shatner's horror roles as Mark Preston from the movie Devils Rain. His eyes are pulled from his head by a satanic occult, which added to the dark eyes of Michael Myers by the way the mask was molded.

The story of Ronald Clark O'Bryan is based on a true story for real. I live in Texas and when this story broke, it changed forever the innocence of trick or treating nationwide. O'Bryan was executed 3-31-84.

So, yeah, it's terrifying but I also hope you wouldn't be checking your kids' candy to hurt your kids since you are the most-likely to poison them.
I have a real scary story ;( : So me and my mom just got back to her place.
