I like your ideology. I'm into chemistry for very much the same reason. I like to see what it takes and what I'm capable of achieving making chemicals by starting out with dirt, rocks and wood. I can make potassium hydroxide & carbonate from wood ash and I can make sulfuric acid with sulfide rich minerals I take from the local rivers. There is a lot of pyrite along with loads of pyrrhotite flakes in the rivers where I live. I'd love to figure out a way to become advanced enough to extract aluminum and magnesium containing minerals and reduce these to elemental form. In the meantime, I'm limited to carbothermic reduction reactions for primitive setting chemistry. If I decide this is for post-apocalyptic scenarios, I could get magnesium and aluminum from trash, but isn't it more fun to start with dirt and work your way up? LOL.
My friend it would be better if you had prepared a text to read before every video, I know it's hard to maintain a normal speech while reading but take for example 'diy perks' or 'this old tony' the video editing makes even the least interesting video to be entertainable. Looking forward to watch your next video
I was indeed thinking that myself when editing this video, at the very least some que cards. Thank you for your input! (Though I doubt I'll be as good as this old tony though, but it's something to strive for :) )
