I followed this but the imported OVA/VM under options / Boot Order says "No Boot Device Selected". When I try to fix, it warns "Warning: No devices selected, the VM will probably not boot!". Any fixes?
Thanks! I transferred the OVA file from my Mac, so I used scp (after creating the required directories on the machine), but I followed this for everything else.
I want to import the Mikrotik crack that I found on Google, the files are in the form of ovf, vmdk etc. like the results from the esxi backup, can this be imported to proxmox, I'm waiting for your answer, master
Hi friend, good video, I followed all the steps of your video but at the moment of finishing the disk import with qm importdisk.... it sends me this error when turning on the machine " TASK ERROR: storage 'local' does not support content-type 'images'"
Please look at storage configuration. If you didn't enable storage to store image then you can use it until you configure it. Some storage is for backup only some for image only and so on. It all depends how you configure
Really great Video. I have just one question: You have used two different Storage "proxthin" and "local-lvm", is it possible to use only one storage for the two steps you did?
Yes. You can use one storage. I used two because I am storing the iso images in different disk and VM disk on different. It all depends on your storage.

format 'qcow2' is not supported by the target storage - using 'raw' instead
Then when starting I get Kernel panic saying that it tried to kill init!
Very helpful and clear explanation

I have a large VM disk file that I need to upload directly to a ZFS pool, but I can't find where the pool is mounted. It's not in /var/lib/vz.
What was the path you used to mount the pool?
I followed this but the imported OVA/VM under options / Boot Order says "No Boot Device Selected".
When I try to fix, it warns "Warning: No devices selected, the VM will probably not boot!".

Have you checked boot order
