I really liked this movie and I can’t understand why the Italian comments on here are so harsh. Or maybe I can. Italians are always so hyper critical of anything that is or comes from Italy. Saying they hate this is like saying they are better than this and they have better taste.. If you have a disorder like the girl in the movie (fearful personality) than you will recognise many things in the movie. It’s a simple movie but it portrays a very real and deep issue that many people live with, chronic anxiety. I think for people who suffer from this, it can somehow be inspirational.
It's probably because book was so much better, incredibly inspiring. The characters in this movie are so shallow in comparison with the book. Too bad, they didn't make tv show instead of the movie.
Don't worry, in Italy it often happens, we mistreat anything from our homeland, we worship the overseas shit. Those who comment feel superior but they are just trash. Enjoy Italian cinema in all its form, a great benefit for you.

Ok, ma se nel libro le due amiche si chiamano Maria sole e Stella, perché cavolo hanno dovuto cambiare il nome di quest'ultima in Emma? I loro nomi sono uno dei motivi che le ha fatte diventare amiche.
Per giustificare la frase "tratto dal romanzo di ...." , e quindi capire l'enorme sforzo profuso dallo\a sceneggiatore\trice nel cambiare il nome e rendere tutto congruo al cambio del nome
Ho appena terminato il romanzo e tra una lacrima e l'altra, sono corsa qui per vedere il trailer. Sto fissando da due minuti lo schermo del pc, basita. Io mi domando, ma quando decidete di portare alla luce una storia, sapete leggere bene? Non riesco a spiegarmi come possiate far passare questo per un film "tratto" dal romanzo. E' palese già solamente dal trailer che è liberamente ispirato alla lontana dal romanzo. Solitamente non giudico un prodotto senza averlo prima guardato o letto, ma dal trailer e dalla trama su wikipedia che praticamente narra tutta la storia del film, si comprende chiaramente che a parte il nome della protagonista e l'idea alla lontana della lista delle paure, in questo film non c'è niente del romanzo. Mi dispiace per gli attori, però mi rifiuto categoricamente di guardarlo.
