Yeah that is the number one question I get also, that is why I got large bold capital letters and wrote on the both sides of the rear of my Alpha 7 (and soon on my Snoek when it arrives) NO MOTOR TRICYCLE 100 Percent Human Power. Even so I still get that question a lot. But it helped make the cops stop stopping me, I never get pulled over anymore. (They no longer think its a car without a license plate).

@@shenzhenpingpong I've never seen one on the roads either, just me. Parking is actually not tough because people just leave their bicycles all over the place here and no one cares much. However driving itself takes skill. I've never actually gone somewhere and been unable to park believe it or not, and I ride in Tokyo!! If you visit Japan you should visit me, I will have a Snoek and an Alpha 7 and I think we are similar height (I'm 173cm). Do you have any techniques for adjusting the seat length for if you want a shorter or taller friend to ride your Snoek or other velomobile?
Damn , i thought our roads in my region in Germany are bad after winter, but yours look even worse. My QV has trouble sorting out the potholes and the cracks but it must be even harder on the snoek with its lower clearance.
In America, it seems the e-bikes are very capable. I'm sure that one wasn't on 250W. The guy is sitting bolt upright going uphill at 40 km/hr. So it must be 500W/750W I guess.

@@numpy_array , that would be some coincidence on my commute. A Snoek, a carbon fiber road bike and an illegal e-bike all lining up at a traffic light waiting for the signal to go green...
I could feel the pain from the bumps watching, when you passed the cargo ebike. For my visor I use earth magnets (under the shell and on the visor), they add weight but have been okay to ride with up to 50mph without falling off. Do you think the Snoek handles the poor road surfaces better than the DF? I think I'm stuck with 28mm tires at the widest since my model is one of the older ones.
I've had some bad experiences with magnets. I used to use magnets to hold down the maintenance covers on my DF. Magnets at every corner, the powerful neodymium type. They work most of the time, but I've lost both covers. The problem with magnets is that when you hit something hard, there will be a momentary gap as the shell flexes. And just 1mm is enough for the magnetic field to be severely weakened. So one time out of 100, it flies and gets crushed by a pickup truck.

I'm not really a fan of the mess hot sticky velcro makes on the velo but your warning may be enough for me to stick the velcro on the body and use the stock configuration of the windscreen. I'd hate for the windscreen to fly off right into my face at speed. It could definitely cause me to crash. Hmm, a little bit for me to think about.

I'm no John Henry, I'm just an ordinary rider, not strong. The Snoek permits us smaller guys to have an efficient ride.
It's often the little things that makes the same rides fun and interesting. I enjoy that in a bike commute to/from work.

On flat terrain, it's not a problem, they only do about 28 mph. On any incline, it's a problem for ordinary folk like me.

The cargo bike was pure e-assist, the other bike was just using it as a helper.

It is what it is. It's not the first time an e-bike has gone up the rise at Mountain Ave at high speed.

I have 32mm tires on the Snoek, but it has a hard suspension. The DF has softer springs, so probably the DF copes better.
