I'd say the Jets team we saw in this series was exactly the same team we saw in the regular season. The problem was that Avs team was not. They have another gear for the playoffs. That's something they had to learn and if the Jets want a cup they will have to learn it too. They know it and pretty much to a man said as much.

As an Avs fan, I've got to wonder how this series would have looked if the Jets iced this lineup from game 2 onward. This was a great series, it just felt like anytime the Jets made adjustments they were too little too late. The Avs got their speed game going and that's what makes them so hard to play against. It was almost like the Avs flipped a switch to up their game for the playoffs while the Jets didn't really seem to be able to do that. It was a super tough series despite only going 5 games. I know for the Avs they had to learn from some tough series losses, maybe that's the case for the Jets. With Helle in net the Jets will be a problem in the Central for the foreseeable future. Not a Jets fan but I'll sub to the channel because I enjoy your analysis of the game, glad I stumbled on this channel and I'm sure we'll see you guys next season.

Apparently when Parise was injured Jets fans started chanting 'Go Jets Go'.. that was disgusting. They also booed when Makar was injured. At least when Vlad was injured the Avs fans were quiet till he was able to skate off, than they cheered him. Jets fans need to be a little more respectable to an injured opponent players.

From an Avs fan, it's sad the NHL went to this new seeding format, and it really effected the West more than the East. I wish they went back to 1-8 but maybe take out the reseeding. Anyway I knew whoever faced the Avs in the 1st round would have a rough go. There is no way with the core of that cup team from 2022 that they were going to go out in the first round again. Loosing to Seattle where we had a shell of a roster, with numerous guys injured Nichushkin out, and Cale Makar getting a suspension from an unfortunate and uncharacteristic play from him. This is the first year they've really addressed the loss of Landeskog and Kadri. While I'm glad the Avs won it sucks that we lose a top team in the west so early on. You're also going to lose Dallas or Vegas in round 1 and then by the western converence finals you may only have one of the top 5 point leaders left. The East it seem like only with Boston and Toronto will you lose a top teams in the first round.

Last comment of the year from me, but sadly the season was a bust because we end everything with more questions than answers exactly like last year.. this was a year to answer questions about the team. The defense I thought did all they could, yes there were some mistakes but every D core this time of year makes them. Helle and the fans were left out to dry by forwards who could not pickup the second level, secondary scoring or shots from the point. Let’s be honest jets would’ve lost to any team in the western conference, thankfully it’s not as embarrassing losing to an avalanche team who won a Stanley cup a few years ago

There's a psychological human need to identify a villain when an unwanted and embarrassing outcome occurs. I feel for many Connor Hellebuyck is filling this need -- unfairly. Was he sparkling? No. I think you could argue maybe 2 to 4 goals (out of the 28!) were ones you'd like to see him stop. But come on. The man faced a shooting gallery. Where was his help?
