Morgan embodies the values/principles that bring success - integrity, education (formal or informal), desire, vision, planning, hard work, discipline, focus, self-confidence, perseverance, tenacity, staidness, wise time management, saving, investing, frugality, research, connecting with mentors, attitude of gratitude, and more importantly reliance on God. Well done, fellow Alexandrian! May your journey see more success and impact many lives back home.
This is a great interview, it always amazes me when I hear non Americans visit the United States and they have fairy tale like views. Anyway, What I love most of all is that he created his own opportunities in Ghana. That’s what I call a true success story.
@@a2theb46 People don't know its propaganda, that's why it's effective. & there r many success stories for people to hinge their "logic" on. Even his story would still be considered one even though he had to pivot, so he & others really can't be blamed for their naivety.
Interviews like this confirm what I have always said. Trade 10 Diasporans with this mindset coming to Ghana for 500 Ghanaians who are trying to leave the country and consider it a fair trade. Win win for all involved.
You see, the issue is that starting some time in Ghana is very hard for the average or ordinary Ghanaian , to school here is hard, completing school and liking for a Job is very hard, building capital is very hard and getting facility from the Banks or financial institutions is very hard not to talk about the high interest rate . I believe if started in Ghana with the same Job, effort and energy, he wouldn't be here .
He Is very positive. I personally know people who make $170,000 with uber Black SUV a year and $20,000 with lyft a year. Almost $200,000 a year excluding tips.
Such a refreshing interview. This man stands on INTEGRITY, regardless. May God continue to Bless you on your journey as you impact others with your story. 🙏🏾✊🏾
Logistics/ transportation business is a good investment. Its recession proof and pandemic proof because when everywhere was shut down people still need goods to be transported from one place to another.
This man really inspired me. Hard work and good values take you a long way and I can’t wait to come back to Ghana to establish my dreams and aspirations
There’s no life in America or UK I am more convinced listening to this interview I am tired you are like a cash cow for your family when you are in the west 😮
African Americans could be stacking up working in the us than on the other hand traveling back to the mother land create businesses build. I believe we as the diaspora could really do some big things back home 💯
He needed to get the proper amount of sleep. With sleep, diet and exercise and small leisure outlet most people can work 12-hour days if the desire/motivation is there.
Correct. a guy from Kenya lived in N.Jersey worked the same hours as a security guard and he massed about 150K, while ready to go back he collapsed and the hosipital declared him dead. what a sorry story
That’s ur mindset … the body adapts to everything.. once the right mindset is made , it’s ready to adapt to whatever .. so that’s what book has made u to believe..
I left the US (DMV area too 😅( to Cameroon. I started inter city transportation business, taxi business, clothing design fir children and I experience EVERYTHING he's saying about the human factor. I was terrible. All my businesses failed, I lost all the money for the bus business-- at tge end my bus looked like it had been through war. I breakeven for the taxi, the designer dresses was a total loss bc the sewing was too clumsy and the workers were not open for correction even though I'll bring someone with better skills to teach them, they saw it as if I was saying they are not good tailors. As a matter of fact, they weren't. Thank God I had my real estate investment that sustained me if not my return would have been a huge fail.
I don’t think he earned more than his fellows working with their degrees as he claim. I admire his hard work but I think the analogy is wrong. His fellows are working only about 8 hours a day (5 days a week) and earn 60 - 70 k in a year. He on the other hand works 17-18 hours a day, 7days a week, making about 106k in a year. So approximately he only earned 53k for 8 hours a day.…No he didn’t earn more than them. He worked more than them!
Here I am at 35 trying to find my purpose in life. To any young person reading this, get into a trade as soon as you can. I spent my entire life schooling, to end up getting a survival Job!…have a Masters in Supply chain management, but the pay isn’t encouraging aging at all It’s never late! I’m in Canada and now starting all over! GETTING INTO A TRADE!
Lesson- when you travel abroad don’t go do any reading programs like sociology, psychology, political science bullssssh Get into health or trade school like welding etc
He has to pay taxes, social security at the end of the year as independent worker, factoring gaz, car insurance, repairs, he can clear 70,000$ at the highest , I didn't add car depreciation. But he said he worked 17 hours a day 365 days, it is like making 18$ an hour (if he made 106,000 brut). That is grueling, almost slave wages. He worked himself almost to death to make that, which can be done only for a short period.
@@danielcosby6481 isnt car depreciation cost? lets say a car that is supposed to last 10 years to get 100000miles , gets there within 2 years, and we know the higher the mileage the higher the risk of catastrophic failure like transmission , engine.. Its definitely a non-negligeable element to really know the profit.
It is also a debt trap place. Most people are living on credit and they delude themselves into thinking they have a good life when they are living a stressful life based on living in debt.
Thus guy was killing himself and also he put other people lives in danger, because he didn't have enough sleep. Niw, with 100k, he can easily turn it to a million in 4 years.

This is probably the best motivation I have come across on the internet… I actually see myself in this young man.. thank you Webnation
You are welcome

Very good interview positive message, I am a African American and I'm investing in Ghana and it is paying for itself now.
@@mgeorge162 I’m not sure what type of business you have, but hopefully it creates jobs for the local people. Anyway, congratulations.
Bro you right, am doing the same thing, but not the hours you mentioned, i only do ten to eleven hours a day. I want to come back home.
I feel like Woda Maya has influenced so many people to come home. He should be recognized as the #1 African Influencer for 2024
He did not influence anyone to come back home it's just endless hardships in the western world. US is actually tougher than most African countries
Yes

This conversation was very interesting. I laughed and cried 😭 as an American citizen.
Why did you cry, if you don't mind sharing?
GOD IS LEADING THIS MAN. IT IS VERY CLEAR
Now Mr Morgan hit the nail 💅 straight forward, getting capital to start the move matters a lot.

This is really good. I just wish the audio was better as it can be jarring to hear the fuzzy sounds.
