I heard this is based on Korean Legend About a tiger that eats the Sun so basically they are 6 tigers aming for the sun and leeseo eats it in the end and it’s all based on korean Culture from set outfits to sound and lyrics

It’s name is ‘gombangdae’ Korea tradition smoke. In Korea we say ‘the time when tiger smoke’ when we start Korea tradition story. And it means ‘once upon a time’. This song is linked to tiger, so i guess they use it.

I'M BEYOND GLAD LIZ FINALLY GOT MORE LINES!!! I kept noticing that she wasn't really being given much time to showcase her vocals and I feel SO fed with this comeback cause we got to hear way more of her and rightfully so!! HEYA is based on an original folktale IVE created.
"a tiger who loves the sun"
tells the story of a tiger who is off on a search for the sun, who is hidden in the darkness, metaphorized by IVE
in the opening of the song yujin was holding a pipe and there's a smoke coming out of rei's mouth...
in Korean folk tales instead of “once upon a time” they’d sometimes use “back when tigers used to smoke”
