I was dying when you made "fancy ramen" that's what my wife and I and even me and brothers growing up here in east Idaho called it. All the random fixings in the fridge with random Asian sauces. Perfection! Great video
Haha fancy ramen ends up being our go to. Especially if you can get Shin Black brand with some heat to it. Add some potatoes for content, some veggies and mushrooms, so much flavor!
I have everything I need but my rod which I should be receiving in a couple weeks. My husband and I will be Tenkara fishing for the first time the end of August, up in the White Mountains of Arizona. We are soooo excited and I'm thrilled that I happenend to come across your vid. today.
I love that spot so much. Beautiful. Surprised you got one west of the little parking lot. There was no sign of life there when I went a few weeks ago!
If I was walking around in Phoenix in July and you told me that there Arctic Grayling in AZ I would not believe you. That is wild. Would love to go catch one there. You gotta get out there for Apache Trout too!
Love it. Keep em coming! Super jealous of this adventure. I haven’t yet purchased a Tenkara rod, I’m fishing trad style with reel. I definitely need to get one. What do you recommend for the up here in the PNW, I like to fish the rivers of central Oregon and mountain lakes and streams of SW Washington.
If you are fishing both lakes and streams in that zone I would suggest the Teton Zoom. It gives you two different casting lengths. Very handy when fishing lakes. But also that smaller length works really well on streams. Such cool zones you get to fish in, cheers!

That hitchhiker 🤣 I’d pick him up!
Ya he was a pretty fun hitchhiker but he pitted out pretty quickly!
LOVE, LOVE your videos! I love catching fish on my Tenkara rod. Can’t wait for your next adventure video. Keep them coming.
Awesome Sue thank you so much for watching!

Amazing! Arizona actually has some great mountains and the fishing can be so fun. Good luck!
These journeys keep getting better and better - thanks for letting us all tag along!
Glad you like them!
Excellent videos, always fun to watch. Thank you
Glad you like them we are just out trying to have a good time and show how fun Tenkara can be.

Cool that you have been there! Honestly such a beautiful spot. Kind of seems like you are in the world all by yourself out there.
@@tenkararodco That was the first place I fished with my Teton Zoom. Just far enough from Phoenix to get away from all the knuckleheads.
I would LOVE to see that green hip pack for sale again. I own the tan one and it goes on all my adventures; tenkara and western alike. I love it.
Its a good one! Might have a few kicking around somewhere!
@@tenkararodco 👀 👀 👀
4 minutes in, done, time for the next state. Time for Gila trout.
Haha ya that one came together quick. It only took flying to Phoenix and then driving 4 hours to get there!
Greeting’s from arizona lol I’ve always wanted to catch one not had the time to yet though btw we have Arctic grayling up here too!

Greetings from Italy👍👋
THanks for watching!
That ramen, wow! 😅
We've been perfecting our "fancy ramen" recipe for years. The wine glasses definitely helped.
New sub! Liked 🙏😀😃
Next time you gotta try a hiker trash ramen bomb! 🤤
Hadnt heard of that before but now we definitely have to try it out!

Love it! Everything tastes better in stemware!!
Converting my whole cupboard to stemware!
Hey, where are you guys in this video? I'm in Tucson and just bought a rod and I'm trying to find places to fish.
Northern Arizona I want to say in the Show Low region?
@@tenkararodco Sounds about right, not much in southern AZ. Gonna try and make it out there sometime! Cheers fellas.
New’sub! Liked ☀️🙏🌙🌙
Thanks for checking it out!
Thoes Apache look like little cutthroats
Ya they have similar coloring at that smaller size, would love to catch a bigger one!
