Something that never occurred to me is that we're only seeing it from Phoebe's perspective. What if Gary realised very quickly that he actually didn't want to move in with or even be with her? It'd be a hell of a 180 turn after asking her to move in with him, but I guess we all could potentially make an immediate turn like that. I wouldn't otherwise consider this theory but for the fact that they've been going out for a while and he had to be hyper aware of how hippy she was - that she would NOT take the shooting of a squawking bird very well. Did he do it to end things quickly and cleanly? The episode doesn't present it like this at all but again, we're seeing only her side of things.
@@TheRedPeril I don't agree with Gary shooting that bird. He did it simply because it was making noise, it was petty, but killing animals doesn't make someone less human. People around the world eat meat.
@@ihh619 he did not kill to eat - and people kill each other in wars around the world - so does that make it okay - your logic is flawed - if you want to kill and eat meat just own it - stop trying to justify it with faulty logic -
Honestly I liked Gary and Phoebe. Probably the best coupling that could have been fun to watch, with him being a cop and her backstories. Didn’t really like the person more that the show had her with
Tbh I'm I believe one of the few who do NOT like who Phoebe ended up with. Mike and Phoebe had zero chemistry, it was very forced. She should've ended up with David. Would have been great and full circle with them starting out in season 1. And it's not like they couldn't get him back. It came back in season 9. It wouldve been ok just to see David and Phoebe get together officially and then that's it. Phoebe wasn't the type of character where we needed to see an actual wedding. Joey didn't get one and they were similarly written characters
@@djp_films they are fictional characters - your post makes no sense - what does it mean to have chemistry - that is another meaningless phrase people throw around - none of it makes any sense
Firstly I think it's slightly unrealistic a cop would shoot a gun in that way, and so haphazardly. And honestly Gary seemed like the kind of guy who if Phoebe said she didn't like that he shoots birds, he would work to change that habit about himself. If it was one or the other then he's obviously gonna pick her, right? I guess the implication is she could not get over the reality of him having a gun all the time, or killing a living thing with glee, but he just seemed like a nice guy who would do anything for Phoebe since he said he loves her, and lots of men are hunters and do more or less the same thing, so it doesn't really make total sense that they split like that to me over a "mistake" like that. I always thought it was kind of cheap writing on a show that is usually pretty greatly written. Because Gary didn't seem unreasonable, but maybe they did fight over it and break up, I don't know, I didn't get that vibe, it seemed more like Phoebe's choice. I still don't really see it.

“Why is it Inside Out?!”
Ross’ reaction was my reaction too when I first watched this episode😂😂
Such a weird way to end the Gary/Phoebe relationship but nothing lasts forever. Season is almost over but its a hell of an ender.
Ross : Why is it inside out? 🤣
Joey : It's not a cat...🤣
"Hey, ladies. What are you in here for?" 😂😂😂😂😂
I'll like this cat ( it's gorgeous. So warm and soft.

Phoebe being a vegetarian should have been Gary's first clue
Pheobe being a human being is the first clue.

the actor probably had to leave the show - so they had to get rid of him some way - that is how shows work -
