I am so excited I found you. I've been self taught by purely trial and error for years. I can't believe I'm just seeing your incredible teachings. Thank you and God Bless!
A great tutorial. I really enjoyed the tutorial and the completed poster. Mine looked slightly different than the one you created. I opted for concentric circles around the eyes and titled it, "Ripple." I always enjoy creating movie posters or album covers etc. Thanks again for the great tutorial. lately, It has been difficult to find professional tutorials that actually create art and not just stuff.
I completed this composite today. It´s a fantastic one. It took me 3 or 4 hours to get everything as close to yours as I could. I took my time, made sure I got the shortcuts correct and had everything looking right. A great tutorial....thank you
thank you soo much for sharing your knowledge sir , i finished the tutorial on a shot of my son , the result is mindblowing , i defenetly stick with your channel !!
Hi, first time i did your photoshop tutorial with a new Mac coming from windows it was quite a challenge. But as you said so yourself, fun to do. What is frustrating sometimes is your fast moves while changing tools. I had to move up and down the video several times to find out which tool you where using. And than while getting to know all the shortcuts on the mac . But, done well so far. I love to learn some more of your amazing skills! What reassured me was the fact that you said on one of the free photoshop tutorials that it was only a small procent that you are actually using . While doing it, i found out that it isn’t so hard as I at first thought it would be. Now the only thing I need is experience.... will come in time. Thank you for sharing. Sincerely , Norma from the Netherlands
hey Norma, glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Hitting a pace that doesn't confuse beginners and also doesn't bore experienced users is a challenge! For the keyboard shortcuts, I recently did a video on all of them which you can find on the channel. If you practice the tool shortcuts, it'll be a lot easier to keep up.
Thank you so much for your tutorial. All of them are very useful. This was great. But I couldn't figure out just how make deeped lines! What do you mean of offset?
Fascinating. I particularly found your use of the pen tool to create the debossed lines useful. I was working on something similar with shapes the other night and was being frustrated, and I hope I've spotted perhaps the difference I need to do. I bought your lens flare set recently and now only need to set aside enough time at the computer to play with them! I am a bit surprised at how much it seems you do in a faster way than others, but also means it would take more work for you to tweak later (like merging up layers and then working from that). Really just goes to how many different ways different experts use Photoshop really.
With the frequency sep- how do i create just one action that will be able to be applied to "ALL" my other portraits without having to re-go thru the process each time. I never have made an action before and all I want is a 1 click action that I can apply to all portraits (without the hassel of re-doing the steps) and just work it to fit each individual image. (I have almost all your courses, been hard trying to get thru them with asd children and finding time). Thanks
Is there a difference in the technique of selecting and bluring, rather than bluring, and making a layer mask and painting the blur in the areas you want?
I been looking for your style, knowledge and teaching of tutorials for a long time. Thanks so much!

Can you give me a time stamp in the video for the technique you're referring to?
Nice work, mate. Will be attempting to follow this tutorial with a photo of my daughter. I can tell you now it will not look as good as yours... ;)
CMD "J" is a short cut for layer copy, is it ??
Yes. If you have a selection made, it will copy your selection into a new layer. If no selection, it will copy the whole layer.
