I have not seen this from him since he got together with Nikki who is also a lovely lady.Just like in the VD Stephen is great but Damon brings the character of Elena alive, i believe in real life Nina did that for Ian. Of course what do I know! I'm just on the outside looking in. I wish all them much happiness.

Everyone is saying that since Ian married Niki they don't like him cause he never seems truly happy. This doesn't make me dislike Ian, I love Ian, it makes me feel sorry for him❤️ I think deep down he wants to be with Nina, but he's made a commitment to Niki and he isn't happy about it. How can you hate him for being less happy because he married someone he probably shouldn't? Maybe that's not even why he never seems as happy. We don't know them, there's a lot about them we do know, but there's a lot they don't share with us. Something else might be going on💜 I love Ian and Nina 💗

ughhhh I miss them sfm! I respect that he's married but ever since they broke up and he got with Nikki, I haven't seen him truly happy and he's turned into a jerk too, I actually don't like him anymore, I love delena still their my top OTP ever I just don't believe Ian's that happy with Nikki, I think and will always believe that Nina is the love of his life and his happiness, he was truly happy and I just don't see that with Nikki. anyway this was absolutely amazing, it makes me hurt inside to know their not together! :(

I love how he always tries to put something his on her like his hat or gloves or that jacket on the carpet and at the panel (those are memorable, unforgettable), or his glasses. It's....I hope they find their way together in life, without losing themselves and their brilliant career. i'm having a nian kind of day and i just wanna state this. Nina wasn't the one who caused the break up. to me she has every right to say she's not ready to be married yet. she is way too young to give her single life up just to be engaged. ian on the other hand, i just dont get it. he proposes to nina which means he wanted to spend every mom of his life with her. i know he loved her deeply but that doesnt explain why he broke up with her. i mean when you love one person so much yoi never give up on them. you stay and fight for them even if that means ure gonna be married later than u've probably thought. but he not only broke up with nina , he also married one of her friends. like how is this excusable? it appears to me that all he asks from a woman is marriage. nina leaves her life enjoying every moment and no matter how much it hurts seeing them apart i think nina has been benefited from all this.
it's just that sometimes you have to leave the one you love the most behind to find the one that values your needs

Ian would never leave Nina dobrev because he loved her so much, he married Niki because Nina Dobrev started dating other actors and left Ian, so he got to know Niki better because she was part of a series that Ian liked, and they married. Of course if Nina asked him in courtship, he would run, we all know and we see in the face of Ian that he loves and never forgot Nina, she is the one who betrayed him first
