I really appreciate Brian's honesty and vulnerability in this message. It takes a lot of bravery to be that open, and you can tell that he has won something precious in the battle he's talking about.
Nice talk Brian.:) Some are in emergency situations and need immediate help but for those who are stable in their lives, I suggest you consider God's recipe for a relationship with his son Jesus Christ. Recite daily and discover where you are on the path to Jesus, the path home. :) THE TEN PROMISES OF GOD: [] Come and you will hear. [] Hear and you will understand. [] Understand and you will try. [] Try and you will succeed. [] Succeed and you will believe. [] Believe and you will trust. [] Trust and you will love. [] Love and you will serve. [] Serve and you will surrender. [] Surrender and you will live. Live in everyday union with God's Holy Spirit. Brother, sister, surrender your mind to the heart of Jesus Christ. :) Let your heart be his heart. Do it and all the apples will fall from your tree. :) P*E*A*C*E
B. Mitch Mayes I think you're coming from a different worldview. I suspect Brian would agree that God could technically have prevented it. However, my belief (and I believe this is where Brian is coming from, too) is that God's high value for free will has caused Him to limit the ways in which He intervenes in most circumstances. He chooses to work through people, rather than forcing them to choose what He wants them to choose. It is His will that none would perish, yet people perish. So that perspective would say that God didn't make the choice to allow that to happen to Brian, but the ways that He has chosen to interact (and not interact) with the world meant that God's will wasn't what caused the situation to come about, but rather it was the choices Brian made.
I like how you said surrender is a domino effect! Thank you!

God bless Pastor Brian. His messages have helped me tremendously in my own suffering, and I praise God for it.
praises or whatever people say is fine what God says is more important to me 😭😭😭
I needed this so much right now. Thank you for sharing what you went through.
I love this!
Of course God allowed it but yes, we also make choices that will make a difference:)

I love the core of what he is saying but the attempt to say that God didn't allow it...of course He did... .
