Fake cakes are hard! I have been working on a cake slice tower and the effort, drying time and struggle with finding good products here in the UK I know the effort it took you to complete it. Wow. Well done! But I am curious, why did you make the cake slice and then seal it into the cake? When the spackle dries you won't be able to get it out without breaking the cake? I find making the cake and then painting the colours works better than colouring the cake as you get fewer variations in the colours. Thank you so much for sharing all your hard work, I appreciate getting to see it!

Usually that slot for a slice is left out for a real cake slice, especially for like weddings. For mine I was asked to add that slot but then the buyers changed their mind so I had to hide it completely 😅
