    At time 53:44, shouldn't the area from a node at a plane surface be half that in the y direction? So the q_2-5 = k*(delta x)*(1 for depth)*(T2-T5)/(delta y / 2) instead at 54:05?

      The time derivative of the temperature function, or change in temperature with respect to time. Units of [deg. C]/[s] or [K]/[s] in SI units

    I know im coming to this video really late but 29:27 when calculating Biot number why doesnt he convert the F to R, becuase the h has R, and k has F. I know they arent equal.

      @@AmericanFalcon No, Bi= 0.000193 is when you forget to convert inches into feet by dividing it by 12. I can understand, playing with imperial system of units can be confusing. I don't know why US doesn't shifts to SI units like the entire world!

    I can tell this is pre-Covid by listening to that clearly sick student cough the entire time. That wouldn’t fly nowadays.
