I did one crawler kit awhile back it was a cheaper one and the hardware was pretty bad they rounded out pretty quick in some spots from taking parts on and off definitely be nice with a kit with better quality screws nothing worse then stuff stripping out...
@@JmanRc I’ll take the blame for stripping the screw in the gear but kit hardware isn’t always the best. This truck will probably get an upgrade before too long.
Element/Associated do not have the best instructions and often have errors in them. I found for the Element stuff it is best to get the PDF manual and use a tablet or laptop to view the instructions. They are clearer and you can zoom in and determine what goes where. I built the Enduro builders kits with the paper manual and I hated it! I built another months and months later with the PDF version and being able to see it clearly helped a lot. Also remembering the errors helped too! They make good stuff, just poor instructions!
@@Mathieu-is9lw it’s definitely a bit of a challenge but the end result is a nice truck . The plastic spacers in the kit work fine on the front axle so you can use those steel balls to finish out the links .
I was missing a ball to, so I have spare i put in it, took one out of housing, and put spare one on it.
@@raymonde.tanneratomic-rc9370 That seems to be very common from what I’m hearing .

@@AddamsPlayground exactly ! I will definitely go PDF if I build another one . Thanks for the advice .
Yep, I miss one ball. The instruction is horrible. I am assembling my kit, it's really complicates.

@@Okpaintguy2 it's no problem, I have a balls in stock, but the kit IS very good quality despite the bad instruction. I almost finish 😅.
Just weak axels is all i heard, they are still behind in durability.
@@kjflyte5088 We’ll see in a couple weeks when we get it out on the rocks . I’ve never had an Element . I’m looking forward to giving it a go .
