I talk in Season 1 of Just Farm Talk (Episode 1), why I believe you should not start your poultry farm business before you watch this video. I go into details what issue I believe has caused my hens to delay in their laying and not laying to their expected capacity

Please is it possible for me to come there in Ghana and take some classes with you?
What about fruit & vegetables would that be wise bro?
if you have the market for it, then you're actually going to make very good money. you should research your market for it first. good luck
I can relate to this . In Ghana, poultry feed issues have been there even before the pandemic. The pandemic made it worse.
Feed manufacturing business were struggling with main ingredients and therefore cutting corners resulting in low quality of feed with associated price hike. Farmers who prepare their own feed were also struggling.
Again prices of crates of eggs were stagnant . These cumulative issues pushed out majority of farmers.
The future of eggs production farming is not guaranteed at the moment even if you prepare your own feed.
You see I didn't know this before I got into the poultry business. I would otherwise have waited and researched more. That is why I have recently concluded that mix integrated farming is the best way forward. I can't wait to increase my goat flock, as well as adding some sheep, rabbits and pigs to the mix
