In year 7 my high school took us down to mediacityUK in Salford to be in the audience for The Slammer, I don't remember much of it exept this teenage band that I think won? Idk it was so long ago lol.
I feel like whoever came up with the idea for this series was tying to make not-so-subtle commentary about how many celebrities and showbiz stars belong in prison.
I remember thinking this was real, and my older brother crushing all my dreams and aspirations when he explained that the acts don't actually get locked up until they're freed, which is why they only appear once.
Did anyone else have the uneasy feeling when the episode ended and an act was released from the slammer...because you thought they were put in there in the first place because they committed a crime like..murder or assault? Just me?
