I haven't changed my opinion about O'Connell after the Chiefs game - I already thought he possibly had the makings of a franchise QB after how he finished last season. How he played on Friday wasn't really a surprise to me - his promise is definitely not just from "one game", as Moe put it. Then you factor in that Sanders and Ward are borderline R1 / starter QB talents - if either are taken in the top 10 then it will be a huge reach. Remember when everyone thought Malik Willis was going with the 2nd pick of the 2022 draft? This year's class is more similar to 2022 than some Raiders fans want to hear. Right now, O'Connell is clearly more suited to playing in a pro structure. He might not have the ceiling but I wouldn't give Sanders and Ward more than a 25% chance of being better NFL QBs than O'Connell. The big question is: will the last 6 games give us enough info to be able to properly make a judgement? He totally needed to start the season so we could see what we have, and we blew it. I'm not saying I'd be mad if we grabbed an early QB, but I also wouldn't think it was the end of the world if we didn't. Grab a superstar in R1, then maybe a QB like Allar in R2.
I got ridiculed for saying Aoc was the starter and long term for the Raiders Ap needs to go he does not have a clue who starts Minshew lol 😂 we already knew what he was,we needed to know what aoc was about instead we know what AP is about dont get me started with our best RB riding the bench ...
Appointing Getsy as OC, and going with Minshew over O'Connell destroyed our season. Adams would still be on the roster, and we could be battling the Chargers and Broncos for the final play-off spot, if we started the season with the offense that we had against the Chiefs. So - was that intentional? Was that the choice to tank? I can see some fans calling for us to sit O'Connell because he's TOO GOOD, and will WIN US GAMES - can you believe it?!?
@@Raider_Hi did you hear a whistle at all until after the play? I didn't. I rewatched it several times. I'm a Raider fan so I'm looking for the "fix". It wasn't there.
The correct call on the last play was a dead play due to an inadvertent whistle. The false start call was wrong, and illegal shift call WOULD HAVE been right... if the ref hadn't blown his whistle to stop the play.
Come on Moe - you can't be serious... "What's wrong with going into the off-season with AOC and drafting a QB? ... and if AOC beats out that QB...". You know as well as I do that if we draft Sanders or Ward in the top 10 then AOC won't be given a chance to beat them out, no matter how badly they play. The GM and HC will be tied to whether that highly drafted QB succeeds - if they sit a top 10 pick QB on the bench for O'Connell then everyone will think they're bigger idiots than the Falcons for taking Penix.

I still want ap gone
He needs to go!
Anytime the whistle is blown it’s a dead ball.
Watch the play and listen for yourself. There was no whistle until the Chiefs fell on the ball. It's pretty easy to tell for yourself.
THE NATION should have kicked the ball regardless of 15 seconds..!🏴☠️
No way you bring back a coach that's 2-15 .. 3-14.

The problem is they blew the whistle which stops play, the call they made keeps it live and the play goes on
No they didn't, rewatch the play. There was no whistle until the Chiefs player fell on the ball. Just a flag. They let the play continue.
@ the referee threw his flag and signaled false start and had his whistle in his mouth !

@ I saw the whisking his mouth as he was throwing the flag to stop play
@@Raider_Hi so what if, he didn't blow it. Putting a whistle in your mouth doesn't stop the play...you actually need to make a noise with it.
Let’s not forget AP not challenging the bad spot with Abdullah. 🤦🏻♂️

The replay showed he was short. He would have lost the challenge. 🏴☠️

FFS THERE WAS NO INADVERTENT WHISTLE! Stop listening to jaded myopic fans and just watch the play yourself.

No one said that. Bonus money is different than bonus winnings.
