Can't overstate how much I love this band. Under Different Welkins is quite possibly my favorite Novelists tune and it was so much fun to learn. I'm very excited to hear what the gents haved cooked up with Landmvrks. Hopefully, by the time I put together the next cover it will have bass! I've got something really cool arriving if covid would just hurry up and go away.

I really appreciate that. Doing my best to emulate you! That tone took a great deal of EQ to get right. I took an older Bulb rhythm tone and tweaked it until it sounded close.
Sean Tenney There's a lot to learn about Bulb's rhythm tone. Coupled with your tight playing, it sets the perfect tone. I can't wait for your next cover!

How hard is it to learn im getting my first 7 string tomorrow but I’ve been playing 2-3 years 😬
Hey Gabe, congrats on the first 7 string! I remember when I got mine and it was an exciting day. If you've been playing for awhile the transition shouldn't be any trouble at all. Playing a 7 isn't any harder than playing a 6. Just remember that the main difference between a 6 and 7 is the extra 5 notes you get on the low B (Open B and the first 4 fretted notes). All the notes on your 6th string start at fret 5 on your 7th! With some time you wont even notice the extra string!
Under Different Welkins isn't too difficult but all Flo/Novelists riffs require some time with a metronome in order to refine. Flo is an excellent guitarist and his playing is very technical. I remember a couple of the clean chords being interesting as well. With some practice I'm sure you'll get it down in no time! Cheers man!
