Hello.. I love your video's of the tour.. Your trike/zarges trailer are amazing.. I"m working with Pat Franz on building a rack for my Solar Panel to recharge my etrike batteries.. Pat is great.. I have the privilege of knowing these people in PDX. :) . When will you be visiting Portland..? Let me know. Robb PDX USA
I know. I had some terrible Achilles Tendonitis last year after getting on a new trike. You're doing it right though... small changes until its comfortable.
I have nearly a one inch difference in length between my legs. I'm not sure if that influences my triking, how much I might be compensating and not knowing I am doing it. Maybe I need to consciously monitor how I am pedaling, especially on long journeys like RAGBRAI, or training for it. One thing I plan to do for yet another torturous winter in Minnesota is the single leg exerciser drill that the Hostel Shoppe recently posted. I'll put a link on my Facebook Page (Opus, the Mysterious Tiker) so you can find it easily. P.S. That room is unbelievable!
Very impressed with your energy and discipline. Riding and filming and editing and posting!! What video camera are you using and where is it mounted, on the bike or on you? Drone shots are good too, you must be carrying quite a load, laptops aren't light for a start. And presumably you consider Colombia is now safe for independent tourism. I ride a Challenge bent on Brighton seafront. Not dodging logging trucks!
David, I'm using a Removu K1. It's a handheld video camera with a 3-axis gimbal and external mic jack. I can hold it while riding as long as I'm not going too fast. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Old colonial town. "On that square are the early 17th-century Our Lady of the Rosary church and the House of the First Congress of the United Provinces, where new laws were drafted after independence in 1812. "
"Aagh, I might have to drink it." Absolutely charming. Enjoying your tour immensely. Makes me want to pack up my trike and go!
Sweet bike path.
I see that U are good observant of the small details in the field, I like it..
love the sky behind you

Hope you enjoyed the wine 🥂😉
The mysteries of leg length and recumbent booms... someone should do a PHD thesis.
Thanks, Tim. Boom length is something recumbent riders don't really talk about. I am always having boom issues, oy!!

Nice hotel! Beautiful town.
this town was submerged by the sea long time ago and on the ground U can find sea shells as well as prehistoric amphibians.
I see you found that crappy unmaintained bike lane into Villa de Leyva :)
I'd drink it, but then i'd have to stay another night...lol ba ba ba boom!
