Yes old 14 aur 16 wheeler me band ho gaya hai kyuki 230 HP ke engine ki wajah se height badh gayi hai so old cowl me proper fit nahi ho Raha tha

Nice Informative video. But why TaTa does not give any other engine option, only 3 engines either 180 hp, 210 0r 250 hp ???

Tata gives only 3 engine options as these are perfect for mileage, service, ease of operation and maintenance.
These Cummins engines have been in India since long time and our roads and terrain are suitable for them.
Also higher hp results in low mileage...hence 300hp is enough for the road conditions we are having currently

India heavy truck mein 180 hp engine hi kyun dete hai more powerful engine kyun nahi dete as compare to other countries

Because of mileage bro....majority of the transportation is highway to highway....so the 180 hp engines give enough power and mileage for that specific load.
Also due to tax concerns higher HP means higher tax.
In the bs6 range Tata Motors and Ashok Leyland have given customers wide range of engines accross all their trucks.
For Example
In Tata MHCV Range
There is 180 HP, 210 HP, 250 HP & 300 HP Available
In Ashok Leyland MHCV range
200 HP, 250 HP, 300 HP
