EPE relates to batch production. It depends on production plan. For example, if a machine is changed over in a sequence so that every part number assigned to it is produced every three days, then EPE is three days.
I think the question was in the Stamping activity datacard it is mentioned as 2 weeks and there is no mention of batch change in the case study so the question i guess. @@Industrial_Engineering
Hello Sir, This is a really good video. Easy to understand. I have a doubt in VSM to calculate the leadtime in timeline. May I ask for your email ID to send you a case I am working on?
It’s the available time per shift minus breaks. In this case it’s an 8 hr shift minus the 2 x 10min breaks as mentioned in Work time information at 2:52
Getat explanation, congrats.
Its really very nice video 👏Could you please share a link for future state of Acme case study? the link thats in description look different
Thanks for the great explanation. Can you send link for the future state mapping for this case please?
Thanks sir very usefulvideo...pl sahre future state video
Great Video ! It was a good practice for me to latch again into this topic.
Glad it was helpful!
Amazing!
How observed inventory is derived at each process steps?
how did you calculate inventory L and R ?
Uptime = [(Operating time - Downtime) / Operating time] x 100
Como se hizo el cálculo de 1200L y 640 L, porque el enunciado da otro inventario observado?
When we get future state VSM
How uptime is calculated???
What's the difference between OEE and uptime?
OEE calculation needs three things to be multiplied: availability, quality, and performance. Uptime is a measure of availability.
In the Stamping, how can we know EPE is 2 weeks, sir?

I have the same question..and can't seem to figure out from the literature any clues that suggest new part every 2 weeks. Hope OP can advise🙏🏻
can you pease tell how did you calculate the cycle time?
Cycle time for the operation is its standard time i.e. the time required to perform the operation once.
What is Co in current state mapping ?

how did you calculate 27600 sec avialible?
Eight-hour shift with two 10-minute breaks during each shift i.e. 480 - 20 = 460 minutes = 460 x 60 = 27600 seconds
How 27600 seconds available?
It’s the available time per shift minus breaks. In this case it’s an 8 hr shift minus the 2 x 10min breaks as mentioned in Work time information at 2:52
