For those of us living well away from London, these excellent videos give us a good insight into the infrastructure, track layouts, signalling and operations of the Underground....thanks for your efforts.

@@BenTaylor. Well, all lines are possible - the 2009 stock like all modern stock does have ‘manual’ driving modes (albeit only used in emergencies) but still leaving possibility for future DLC
Another great video. It is strangely fascinating trying to follow all the signalling details you provide and relate them to the countless journeys I've made as a passenger. I don't care if my wife came in and sighed at me watching attentively, it was excellent!
Excellent video. The gold standard for cab ride videos. No distracting background chatter or music, nothing but the sounds of the train. Interesting bits of information provided along the way, and good picture quality.
Wonderful stuff !!! This is a line I travelled often when I lived in Harrow in the 50's, with Baker Street one of my favourite haunts (when the Bakerloo line ran all the way to Watford) and also Uxbridge particularly for the Trolleybuses, the bus garage and Red Central area and Green Country buses. Happy Days !

A very nice video, thanks! Having grown up in the Uxbridge/Ickenham/Ruislip area then later commuting into Kings Cross it was very interesting to note the changes both in the scenery and the rolling stock. Have spent many long, cold moments on some of those platforms awaiting the last train home!
At approx 2:41 you can see on the right hand side the curve opened in 1875 whereby Metropolitan Railway services ran into Liverpool Street mainline station itself. Last used 1904 and connection severed 1907.
I think it would be cool if you did fun facts about the abandoned stations that you come across, such as the old Kings Cross station or the old Aldgate East station. I found the video very relaxing though. Also I don’t think the NTFL is coming any time soon, about 10 years is when they will most likely come
Oh good heavens, this a bit weird. The flats adjacent and close to the bridge at Ruislip Manor station have a rather significant place in the archives of my life.
Very nice view I have to say. What about doing the other tube lines if you do get permission. And maybe do TfL Rail, London Overground, DLR, Tramlink, Elizabeth Line and National Rail.
An enjoyable ride. A shame though that the sites of the three former stations between Baker Street and Finchley Road (viz Lord’s 18:56, Marlborough Road 20:20 and Swiss Cottage 21:32) aren’t captioned. Apologies if someone else has already commented on this and I've missed it.
Parliament should take up an Act forbidding Automation for the sole purpose of displacing Staff. Automation should reduce Injuries, quality errors, and the like, but ATO is being done solely to avoid paying out Health benefits and Wages.
Excellent vid. One question, when you travel north from Baker Street on the Met, are the tracks shared with the Jubilee, if so do you pass through St Johns wood and Swiss cottage and the closed Lords and Marlborough road...if you know !!!
Years ago I was going from Canons Park station into central London a woman got off at Wembley Park onto the met line but she then got back on the same train she got off of at bakers street 🙈
This brought back memories from the 1965 when I was a guard/driver on the met, I then was a signalman at Neasden depot and finally a station inspector. Strange not seeing any signals from Aldgate to Finchley Road. I take it that the scc is the Hammersmith one.
What do you mean you see no people? You'll see thousands of people waiting for the train at all the stations you stop at! If you mean no interaction, then thats the same for any train driver all over the world. Personally, I'd love it. I'd love to be a tube train driver, cos I adore and love the tube and to work on the ATO lines where you just sit there and being paid £50k a year to press 2 buttons to close the doors!!!... But unfortunately my disability prevents me.
Why would the train not stop at all the stations it went through ? Eg Neasden etc? I thought the whole point was to provide a good public transport system. Now that ULEZ has come in big time , surely trains should be stopping at every station possible ?
Interesting when the train stops between stations the driver has to repress the ATO start buttons. On the Jubilee line you don’t need to press anything when stopped between stations
