    What's the secret to better Wing Chun? Watch and listen to Samuel Kwok explain lessons learned from Ip Chun and years of training.
    All the way from Blackpool, in the UK, via Hong Kong Samuel Kwok has spent a lifetime training in Wing Chun with several teachers most notably Ip Chun, son of Ip Man and Ip Ching. He has a deep understanding of the intracacies of Wing Chun, and weathered physical responses that every one can learn from, even if you think you know everything. Which you probably don't.
    He's here;

    Only work for Sifu ,when his student whose elbow gets rigid at the end of the punch ,attacks with no aggression.
    A careless lesson by a talented instructor.

    That's really just an elbow block, not a bong sao. The bong sao does most of the work usually, no need for the the other arm, that's why it's so cool. I think people get that move confused a lot. It is very subtle, and you have to keep your elbows in, it is not at all natural. This is a sad imitation of a Bruce Lee move. I won't even explain.

      lol if you don't understand the importance of wu sao, then you don't understand anything about Wing Chun. I won't even explain.

      @@alanmalcheski8882 You do realize I added "I won't even explain" in my comment as a repond to your own "I won't even explain", right ?
      And spare me the bullshit about asking for a fight on youtube, typical beta behavior... how about instead you prove your intelligence and knowledge by explaining wu sao and then explaining why it's useless with bong sao? wu sao is the manifestation of core concepts of wing chun so if you know better than generations of wing chun masters, go ahead, tell us how wrong they are...

      First of all let me start by saying that I respect Samuel Kwok for making Wing Chun his way of life. I also do not claim to have all the answers. However l do have some criticisms. 1. One being at 0:41 Mr Kwok's fingers are sprayed apart on his Bon sao.
      Your is hand is your knife and your arm is your sword. Having the fingers apart leaves them vulnerable to hyper extensions and fractures. 2. At 0:51 Mr Kwok pushes down his partners arm with as he called it Bui Gee (Thrust finger-point) not Larp Sao (Ceasing hand). My criticism is not with what he calls it. The flaw I see in it is how low it is. This technique has a two beat tempo. If his partner also executed a two beat technique say a jab/cross or jab into a leading hook or even a jab rear hook having his hand so low would make it more difficult to defend the second attack. Pushing downward force does not threaten.
      I believe we should all have the right to critique without being disrespectful

    too much talk for a needless movement.bong sao is not needed at all at this attack.it is high enoygh and the elbow is high.inner punch anf if he push down then bong sao is needed and it is safe to do it

    Yea, this kind of bs demo works for every Sifu, including Gary Lam and alike. Always assume attack is from centerline! Lol
