    What I like about this man is he legitimately won the right to be called "Top Dog" and teaches people with honesty. That is very refreshing in a world of fake nonsense. "If you see it, it's been tested in combat", forgot who said that from the Dogbrothers but yeah. Great stuff.

      I train BJJ with Eric. I am a 43 yr old, 5’5”, 170lb no-gi purple belt. Eric is 66 yrs old and beats my ass every time I train with him. I have this joke that when he is rolling in BJJ and I catch him in something it’s like he has an old stick fighting PTSD reaction. We actually trained this morning together. He is exactly how he is here. What an unbelievable guy. Just humble and normal. He also got his BJJ black belt about 6 weeks ago.

    Top Dog !! it's been about 11 years or so since I last seen this guy, he and Marc Denny & Tony Fernandez. I so fuckin miss this sport, I was at my best while training.

      Same! Even just a few hours haha. Watching his vids from 93 now and you can see his desire/intensity for his art. Inspiring to see people passionate about something. Just like Lonely Dog (who's videos made me join the DBMA). Love this stuff so far, so honest and real. No woowoo.

    its amazing how The Fighting arts produce such nice tolerant people, but if you go to the average college you find the must intolerant people, self-confidence is a lost art. Great post Lonely dog THKS!!

    For me, Eric KNAUSS remains the only real DOG BROTHER and the true essence of his art resides in the PANTHER videos !!! I don t like the way that MARC DENNY has choosen but it s just my advice...

    • @LonelysDen
      @LonelysDen  7 років тому +2

      honestly i'm not sure if there would be still any Dog brothers without Crafty

    Obviously studying the martial arts builds a lot more than fighting skill--Eric seems like a really nice guy. Good thing, because he's pretty damn wicked with that stick...God help us if he gets a hold of a machete ;).
