I do not expect PBS to show any of this type of movie, PBS is too "politically correct", so we will have to look for them here. But masks? No thanks. That is a huge psyop. No one needed to wear masks this whole year. They did more harm than good.

Plus, unlike standard commercials, the ads pop up randomly in the middle of the dialogue just as I'm getting into the show, and the volume practically wakes the whole neighborhood. I wish i could just fall asleep to these shows without youtube needing me to actively tend to it so much 😅

Pretty cool uploads! Used to watch these on channel 9 in Chicago growing up.
Number 2 son, played by Victor Sin Young, also played Hop Sing on "Bonanza"
No way!
@@cruisepaige Yes way. Look it up.
Much as I enjoy Mantan, I LOVE Willie best! 😄
Use to watch the Charlie Chan series and these Charlie Chan movies all the time as a child and thought they were strange because every Asian kid in my neighborhood and their parents spoke better English than me and my parents. I could not figure out why Charlie talked so strangely (Never said I was a bright kid).
Love chrlie chan movies
"Why Mr. Chan, she's a man!" "Guy in drag, in tough guy voice: "So what!?" LOL!
Hey Gary, Hollywood will never be able to make films from yesteryear they just don’t have the imagination anymore😟
If you're talking to me,I've always loved these old movies:no gore, sex, nudty, hardly any violence but with lots of humor
Willie Best is the best comedian EVER😃
I love Charlie Chan have a few of his movies.
I must say how great would it be if PBS would show movie's like the one l just watch. For! Their are many people that still remember Mr. Charlie Chan moive's. This also would be great for the younger generation to get a look at what we saw back in the day thank you so very much. Hope to see more if l'm able to find them. Remember to wear you masks and stay safe.
I do not expect PBS to show any of this type of movie, PBS is too "politically correct", so we will have to look for them here. But masks? No thanks. That is a huge psyop. No one needed to wear masks this whole year. They did more harm than good.

@@amandawilcox9638 Who is the "she" you refer to? The commenter? I believe that is a male, but regardless, she did not give a "blessing", she reminded people to "stay safe". I don't need a reminder for that. The mask tyranny must end.
Is the first wireless telephonic conversation on screen filmed ever. Wonderful Mototola SCR 536.

I love the old black and white movies so very much...
I enjoyed the movie, not the ads. I see many comments about far too many ads. True. It kept me from focusing on the movie, since I had to be prepared to quickly hit the Mute button, then "skip" the commercials as soon as I could. One way to avoid this would be to download the vid , then watch it. If that is possible.
@@jharris0341 Thank you for that suggestion. Just yesterday, I had to get Windows Updates, and they gave me the new Edge browser, replacing the old version that came with this.
Just download, save it and you can watch it later.....thats what i do
these movies take me back .. public library near us would show these and abbott and Costello movies during summer break.

I enjoyed watching all the Jackie Chan movies growing up as a young teenager with my grandparents. Even though I was probably 11 years old when I first seen Jackie Chan movies they were still good.
I thought they were a little bit of a slow pace that moving movies but they were good. I wish they were still showing them on TV yet.
I think you might mean Charlie Chan--Jackie Chan was not around when you were growing up unless it was in the past 20 years or so.

Oops my bad I meant to say Charlie Chan
Wouldn't it be nice if you could just sit back in your easy chair and enjoy this movie? You can't, of course, as you have to get up every 2-6 minutes to click on "Skip Ads." Can you imagine if network TV shows had this many commercial breaks?? No one would watch.
Plus, unlike standard commercials, the ads pop up randomly in the middle of the dialogue just as I'm getting into the show, and the volume practically wakes the whole neighborhood. I wish i could just fall asleep to these shows without youtube needing me to actively tend to it so much 😅
I watch on my phone. No jumping up.

Ilove Charlie Chan.
Thanks.
Love Charlie Chan movies
The movie is ruined by the commercials popping on, at a much higher volume than the movie. All You Tube movies are terrible because of this.
Get Ad Remover, works like a charm.
The b&w versions are the best cases!!!!!
Thank you!
This Black Man in this movie is very famous stepping Fletcher is his name. Very very funny man back in the day. God bless you
Willie Best is his name.
I used to watch these back in the '60's , along with the Late Show , the Late late show ,and the Creature Double Feature .
Loved Charlie chan movies since I was a kid loved trying help and figure out the mysteries he had to solve no racism here
