@@jiggnorth3593 I worked in a psych hospital for a good few years, the patients would write in books sometimes books that allready had writing in them and none of the stuff that was written made any sense until now…. Maybe they were trying out calligraphy with a fountain pen
@@HogwartsBasement that is sadly hilarious 😂 I practice my calligraphy these days while listening to old Art Bell episodes on UA-cam and unconsciously letting what I hear flow from my pen. I pity the fool that finds those test sheets!
This is legit super calming to me right now. Room is dark, All comfy and wrapped up and stumbled on this. Then I hear the sound of that pen touching the paper and it brought me back to when I was still in school. There was always a weird but pleasant feeling I got when someone else wrote on my piece of paper. Never their own, but it was like, I don't know... Special? And this just brought that feeling back for whatever odd reason. Thank you.
It depends. I have new smooth nibs, and new toothy nibs. Sometimes, feedback and tooth can feel brilliant to some people. I’ve yet to have a vintage nib though, so I can't speak for them.
03:34 I like this color, but according to the specs, the Diamine Refills Eau de Nil ink is more blue then green. Perhaps it's the lighting or the camera lens. Too bad, as i love this ink color.
This is fascinating, because when I first saw the color, I immediately thought, "Oh, nice blue!" Interesting how different people can see the same physical color differently. Cheers!
I saw on your other videos you mentioned 2 people/companies that make flex nibs (regalia writing labs, and pen realm) do you happen to know anyone else that makes flex nibs? I would buy the crossflex nib but it's only sold at pen shows :(.
for anyone wondering; the first nib is not being produced anymore for the foreseeable future. it would be $200+ on ebay second hand.

I feel like there is more to this than you're letting on.

Loved it! Absolutely agree; there's something beautiful about the way the ink meets paper 😁🙌

This was so calming and nice, I really enjoyed it. Thank you for a great video!
these pens are amazing !
i am just watching how much flexy the nib is!
It sucks that Regalia isn't producing anymore. Would really love one of these bad boys on my opus88.
fountain pens are really cool in my personal opinion realllyyyyy
Bro it so beautiful I I like these drawings like somthing
It's crazy how superior the vintage nib is. It glides across the paper like glass while the new nib sounds like a file.

The new nib flexes more and it is longer (better ergonomics).
Liked and subscribed after reading about this channel in NYT, today.
Beautiful writing! What paper do you use? Do you prefer one over another when using flex nibs?
Mesmerising .
Beautiful. Thank you very much. Make me wish I wrote as beautifully.
Love it!
