Di pa naman yan yung final output/trailer kumbaga testing palang yan to see kung Ano pa yung pwede nilang I improve. Ginawa nila tong documentary na to, to give us an update kung Ano yung mga nagaganap behind the scenes.

At kung ito mn ang final production nila, masaya p rin ako kasi sobrang ganda ng cgi effects lahat lahat kaya ok na sakin toh even japanese ok na sa kanila ang ganotong mga set up.

My goodness buti naman, akala ko yun na yun. at least don't make it 100 percent similar sa animated film ng hindi nagmumukang cheap cosplay, seek reference or at least idea kung paano gumawa ng live action yung Hollywood movies.

Kinumpirma din nung Team na Sample Costumes lng daw yan. sa mga interviews din, sinasabi ni Direk na "Continuous" ang Revising ng Costumes, pagkaka tanda ko nka limang revise na nga raw eh, kaya malamang sa malamang tlga di pa yan yung Final Design. Pati yung CGI scenes ni Voltes halatang First Attempt/Samplers lang. Kung Araw Araw nag tatrabaho ang CGI team, Araw Araw may naiimprove sa CGI kya imposible namng Ito narin yung Final Render lol. Gusto ko na mapanood yung Official Trailer 😩

Wow! Animation is really on fire. Hope all scenes and animations will be maintained all throughout the series and hope the acting is even better. If at some point, the acting is as good and as on point as kdrama artists, then this will garner global attention and global viewers which I wished to happen. Best of luck to production team and director.

Malamang maintained/ consistent yun, kasi everything goes thru and needs approval from the original makers in Japan. And so far, they have already commended what was presented to them. Needless to say, siguradong pagagandahin ito ng GMA, in all aspects respectively. And as far as the shoot/taping goes, tatapusin yata muna nila lahat ng episodes bago ito ipapalabas.
Its post production so its going to be maintained i think, and since toei animation did a supervision of this i think we're not going to see some low quality cgi like the infamous victor magtanggol
Wow I am a fan of Voltes V as I grew up watching them and I am now excited to watch them on TV. So proud that this is a Filipino-made production.. Kudos to GMA and to all people behind it specially Director Mark Reyes 💕👍👍👍👍👍
For me ang nag stand out sa limang bida is si Little Jon even wala pa sya sa scene I can feel his presence when he said "Volt frigate ready!" Very nostalgic.. I hope he will join his team soon..

SANA GMA gawing weekly new episodes just like how GMA do it noong 80s every Friday night while eating hotdog. May REPLAYS on weekdays. And, sana soon magkaroon din ng mga conference, festivals, talks, fans day, etc.
very great suggestion! dapat nga ganito gawin, since eto naman ginagawa ng lahat ng international series. wag pilitin ang daily episodes.. para makapg focus sila sa quality.. actually, kahit 12 ep per season. almost 2 months na yun. giving more time sa pag produce and improve.

@@theblock4945 Saka make it 60 minute or sometimes extended special 120i min runs kasi cgurado tadtad ng commercials. Just like in The Walking Dead play runs and scheduling of episodes and seasons. At lalo masasabik at mapag-uusapan bawat episodes

From what I know, all of the scenes that were shot including the actings and all were reviewed by the original Japanese Producers/Creators before it is approved as official scene for viewing. They were so strict they made all the scripts and CGIs under their control and helm so expect that this will be a great show!
I am also thinking that this show will also play in Japan and will just get a Japanese Dub instead.
Yes it will air on Japan because of the partnership of TOEI and GMA to produce this high class of series. We cannot deny that Japanese make it so proud of this if this might happen to air to their country. Proud Pinoy.

@@miaya3898 the costumes on the teaser were not final. They are just mock costumes that they use for the play and for approval of their acting sequence. Actual costumes are still being kept secret by the production team.
Grabeee, and this will be shown on FREE TV, walang bayad. Like, I really appreciate their hard work para mabigay ang best. Hindi na tayo magbabayad para mapanood ito, pero ang support natin wag na natin ipagdamot. This is a big risk kasi alam nating baka maraming mang-bash and cancel dahil legend ang Voltrs V pero still, they took the risk to let us watch a live action which I can say that already came out pretty well kahit na featurette palang. Considering na hindi pa ganon ka-bongga ang bansa natin sa ganitong bagay about editing and animation, it is indeed niceeeee! 💯
FYI...50-60% palang to.. there's a lot and more changes to be done especially in color grading..

What a beautiful live action of the epic japanese anime Voltes V.
This looks good and would like to watch this live action. I'm after how it would give justice to the original story. Bringing this to life from the 70's anime series is no joke. Audience should commend the hard work of people behind this. Omedetō Philippines! 👍
Some scenes are from their audition so this is really not final or the official teaser/trailer. Some scenes are for test shots etc. They just want to give us an update.

Yes this is not the final production... Since around 50-60% pa lang sila. Obviously for test screening ang most shots and costume na pinakita dito. Talagang tagong tago nila. So far this is the best cgi of GMA and I'm excited for the final product

Kaya naman taasan yung production level ng animated and action series natin as long as mataas yung revenues nila meaning they need sponsors or else kung walang budget, they have to lower their cost too. I'm actually optimistic with this project! Just as long as GMA stays away from the usual cliches and Filipino tropes for this series. Wala na sanang love triangle, kidnapping, monologuing , at iba pang usual na scenarios sa filipino cinema.

Just to remind some "perfectionist" at the comment section. Direk Mark said nsa 50 to 60% palang ang production ng v5. So what youve seen in this video is a collage of test shots and samplers thats why they called it "featurette" at hindi official trailer. So dont expect na makikita nyo na agad ang color grading dito at final effects. Some well known japanese artist and even toei praise this featurette. Kasi alam nilang dipa final and yet maganda na ang mga samples. So kalmahan muna ng mga perfectionist at free tv yan
Weekly ba sya? Mas maganda lung weekly para may time at budget para mas maganda kada episode. I re-runs nalang yung mga ibang araw.

After what happened with Zaido (which is also from the same production), there is a lot of skepticism over this one, since the production levels of Philippine television are nowhere even as close to Japan's. That said, the visuals here DO have that Super Sentai Tokusatsu vibe into it. Best not to think this is somehow Spider-Man: No Way Home levels of good. That way, we'd be 10 times happier if it actually does.
Well iba na ngayon. Mas marami na ring magagaling na VFX artists na need lang talagang mabigyan ng maraming time and ofc bayad.

Best if you lower your expectations. This is their first time to do such a production on a massive scale, after all.
And the production may be aiming for a Pacific Rim style of atmosphere instead of Super Sentai, based on an interview with their head designer.

I think yun ang benefit ng lock-in taping. Sa observation ko sa mga series ng GMA since pandemic, karamihan sa kanila tapos na nila I-shoot bago ipalabas. Ganon din malamang ang mangyayari sa voltes v kaya kahit pa daily yan nila ipalabas, tapos na nila, wala ng balikan except kung may add sila postproduction.

Far from perfect, but definitely epic. Learned some from Pacific Rim. Just no to unnecessary plot twists to extend series. But since this is local TV, better to calibrate all expectations. Mine is still: Far from perfect, potential flaws are visible. But overall, it's epic.

Everything is monitored and reviewed by TOEI even the plot of the story. Everything has to be approved by them before it's released.
