Newcastle Airport tour and support for neurodivergent travellers.

Tara Hurst, Customer Operations Manager at Newcastle International airport gives us to tour of the facilities and what support is available for neurodivergent people and their families to access. This covers passenger assistance, sensory area, special assistance gates and fast track service.
When in security, staff members are aware of autism and co-occurring conditions and will conduct any searches as efficiently and sensitively as possible.
The airport also has online resources for people to download to help children to know what to expect and familiarise themselves with the airport.
