As an unoptional 60hz player, I never understood how people were able to straight fly. I did not know the difference of hz at the time so I always just thought I was bad at it and wave. I probably won’t switch my hz anytime soon but my hardest now is the insane demon big boom. I play on Mac so there are no tutorial on how to get mega back ( which I bought and can’t use).
i also play at 60hz, tho soon i will have 240hz. the reason it is so hard at 60hz is because the coding causes the gravity to be weird at 60hz. rob says this should be fixed in 2.2 so you can strait fly like the pros in about 15 years.
it is easier to straight fly because of less input lag at higher FPS, 60 FPS is 16ms delay between inputs this is huge delay in that type of game just by having 120 FPS you cut this by half to 8ms so all your inputs are more precise and you can do more clicks, 240 FPS is very optimal with 4ms because you can easily maintain that FPS in most levels on PC, 360 FPS got popular now because of 360hz monitors but the game physics change alot and some levels are impossible because of bugs and some levels are even possible only on 60 FPS and vice versa, 1000fps is just 1ms delay very hard to notice because of that small difference but definitely everything becomes much more precise on that FPS but almost impossible to maintain even on high end PC because most of the levels are very decorated nowadays

The fps is just fps, you are not going to feel what 1000fps or 1000hz will feel like unless you have an 1000hz monitor. So in reality what ever hz monitor you have is going to be the max amount of frames that you can feel. No matter how much fps you get you will only feel whatever hz monitor you are playing on

Having a higher fps than your refresh rate is crucial, because that reduces imput lag and imput lag in gd is almost just as crucial as fps. I assume you know what imput lag means. If you don't search it up

The fps is just fps, you are not going to feel what 1000fps or 1000hz will feel like unless you have an 1000hz monitor. So in reality what ever hz monitor you have is going to be the max amount of frames that you can feel. No matter how much fps you get you will only feel whatever hz monitor you are playing on
