I notice a lot of unruly beards and beards that are too long on the guys getting their hair cut here.
It was another great haircut by Dan! He listens and delivers! A good beard trim would really set off the cut but I’m wondering if the beard is uncut due to cultural or religious reasons. The haircut is great though!

Great channel. Love the instruction and explanation of everything. I'm not even a aspiring barber but for some reason I watch these vids. Haha. Fascinating. The only suggestion I can make is maybe putting up some sound absorption panels or whatever. Got a little echo but as a studio guy, you know sound is everything to me. Haha.

What exactly is “coarse” hair? And how is ‘coarse’ hair different than “thick” hair?
Coarseness comes down to the thickness of the hair strand. So someone could have thin, course hair bc they have “thick” strands of hair but not a lot of hair. In the same sense, someone could have hair strands that are fine but they have a lot of hair, which could be considered having thick hair. Too, you could have someone with a lot of hair, where the strands are coarse so they have coarse, thick hair 😂 Hope that helps :)

Handsome guy all he needed was to trim his beard he has such a full head of black hair leave it as is.
Anyone wondering why the client is keeping his beard like that is because it is obligatory for a Muslim man to keep his beard untouched as the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) commanded us to trim our mustaches short and leave the beard alone.
Liking and commenting to see if this goes up in the comment section, a few people commenting on the beard might find this info useful.

Yea…client was a bit dead ngl. Thanks for maintaining your enthusiasm. He’s probably quite shy, but doesn’t really know what he wants. You did an amazing job. Amazing finish, way to keep the video naturally flowing even if he was so one tone.
Different personalities come through. Always respectful and that’s all we care about! Have to remember there is a camera there too, and sometimes that can make someone uncomfortable to open up aswell! Especially when you’re less certain on exactly what you want! Appreciate the kind words about the cut!

I think he had a general idea of what he wanted and even had pictures of what he liked and didn't. The hairstylist understood what he was trying to convey and delivered.
