- A big convoy of unmarked cars responding with some more unmarked cars responding afterwards. There is also a armed police car included with the response. I believe these unmarked cars + vans are SAS which their base is in Hereford.

Filmed on the Worcester bypass. The white van near the end has been MOT’d in Hereford in the past.

My wife used to drive a Defra vehicle on business. She got stopped on the M6 when the police couldn't see a tax disc (exempt) and were blocked from accessing any details on the PNC about the car...
my understanding from readig books about the uk special forces, they inform the police if they ar travelling through their area. in the book i read, they said that they were in the area during the hungerford shooting, they asked if the police needed their help, the police turned it down.
@@percyveer2355 I can’t comment on the Hungerford incident, at times they may inform local police if operating in their areas. Generally if they are not involved in anyway with a specific joint operation, they would not be informed. At times if they are stopped by police there’s a procedure in place to resolve this.

Tbf, it IS below their paygrade. They have no jurisdiction over policing, and they're unlikely to double-tap you for ragging past them in a suped-up Corsa!

These vehicles are not standard and go through Special Vehicle Operations which can use various upgrades to improve performance and road holding. It depends on the usage.

Why
UK road tax doesn't go towards the roads, it's arbitrary. It's scaled off "environmental impact" however £0 of road tax goes towards environmental function. The PM flies around the UK on a helicopter to visit places for 5-15 minutes, frequently. Nobody in power gives a fuck about the environment however it makes a great cover for increased taxation on the working class. Official government financial analytic bodies have been deeming road tax in need of abolishing for over 10 years now. Road tax is a tax for the poor, it's now become literal theft. Money is forcibly taken with nothing traded in return. Local governments are now solely responsible for funding road care, no money is given to them from the pot of Road Tax - for there is no pot. It simply goes into the general-spending pot of the UK government. You are not paying towards the roads, your council tax is. That's a whole other scam too, in dire need of controlling, but let's focus here. Road Tax needs to be abolished. EV's will taxed from 2024 onwards for "Tyre emissions", which will be raising bi-annually. Road tax is for the sole purpose of keeping the poor - poor. Write to your local MP, tell them you want your voice heard - that you want it abolished. You are a victim of theft from the government, by all definitions. Don't take it up the ass like a punk.

As much as Brexshit has been a complete disaster, we have managed to avoid import tariffs on EU cars so far, however that looks set to change in the near future.
Lovely to see my taxes supporting the German car industry, even more of my taxes taken to cover sterling depreciation for the German hardware. Interestingly my late mother mugged three times during later retirement (London area), police couldn’t even get off their arses to take a statement from her, kind people supported her and arranged an ambulance.

@@rcokeman9495 Blue lights, two tone horns, if it walks like a duck etc. All German hardware paid for from taxes to support German industry. Yet the Police are no where to be seen when needed. We all know for years the police didn’t even visit after burglaries, issued crime number by phone instead.

It's a special intervention unit. Many western countries use this model, it's probably cheaper because you need a limited amount of trained personell per city.

British police probably don’t know what to do with those tons of taxpayers money, if officers drive premium cars like Audis, Mercedeses, BMWs Volvos and Range Rovers. No doubt Skoda Superb or Passat is not enough for those brave policemen for their daily tasks, they need to patrol streets in splendor and luxury 😎
