Wauraltee Beach - South Australia

- We are on a day tripper in this video to have a look at Wauraltee Beach which is located on the Yorke Peninsula here in South Australia. While we check out this beach, we also stop in and look at the Red Devil at Minlaton, check out Port Rickaby. Port Victoria, Port Hughes as well as Moonta Bay and Moonta. On our way home we then go inland to the small town of Bute to have a look at the newly completed water tower art.

Mick and Sally. Another great and interesting video. Such nice beaches and a lot of long jetties. Also it is good to see over there the grain silos getting painted. It brightens up the towns.

That's beautiful. What is the climate like in those places?
It can be cold and wet during our winter but very nice over the summer periods.
I used to head over this way when I was a kid for fishing trips etc, I love your description of the Moonta Bay jetty 'safe' swimming area lol. Glad to see the drone flying is going well and with all the Silo art I think was a fantastic initiative.

As always Mick very pleasant video and no drone mishap. The aerial shots do enhance your videos, no doubt about. I find that wild weather can be exciting and knowing you can crawl into your warm accommodation at the end of the day. Great!!

Just wondering what type of camera do you use? The video is very clear -- the camera must be very good.
I am currently using a GoPro 8 for videoing from the ground while the air videos are done with a Mavic Air S2 drone. The speed at which the camera moves from left to right plays a big part in the clarity.
Probably appropriate we name the drone “The Red Devil” from now on Capt Mick.

Camped on the beach in march , 7 holes in tent and wiring chewed in my engine bay by bloody mice
Not god, we had a similar thing happen at Hogwash Bend on the River Murray.
Thankyou so much for your effort and insights. My husband and I live 2 hours away from Yorkes Peninsula. We camp over there several times a year. Our favourites are Daly Head. Gleesons and Mozzie Flat. Had been meaning to check out Wauraltee, Thankyou for overview and insights....it will help us plan our trips.

Hello Jean Philippe, the paintings on the water towers and grain silos that have been done in Australia are nothing short of amazing. The drone is out at the drone doctor again after it's crash following my truck a week ago but is will be back in the sky very soon. Take care over there in France my friend.

I have almost completed the filming for the first part of a two part video series which will be on the "Life of a 2 Up Driver". The first part should be up on the channel on the 17th of this month.
Most of all I liked Moonta Bay, I would like to fish for tuna from this long pier going into the ocean 😊
Tuna would never come this far up the Gulf, the water isn't deep enough. In saying that, it is a very popular fishing jetty.
