Thank you.Your methods and the way you teach are so elegant.I learnt so much in such a short time.My mind does not feel overcrowded. Please keep up the excellent work.
Greetings from Argentina!
Today, September 23, 2023, I subscribed to your channel!!!
😄
Welcome to my Channel ☺️☺️☺️
dude, you are a great teacher!
Glad you think so!
Very well explained. Easy to follow and simple to understand. Thank you for this video, you explained this simply and perfectly.
If you look at the 4026 datasheet you will see that it has been designed to directly drive a 7-segment LED display. So the current limiting resistors are not needed.
Thanks mate
Excellent! Thanks for this! Great explanation very clearly laid out!
its built!!!!!! i just got it done!!!! its going to hang on my wall and count away, i gotta get a battery backup for it,and i wont officially have it start counting till new years eve.i will do a video on it and explain it to people. i will also direct people to your channel so they can see exactly how to cascade.
Thank you 😊
Great job brother...thank you so much ... Sending sluate from kingdom of Bahrain. ✌️🇧🇭
My pleasure
Should i use 220ohm resistor if i run this entire circuit on 3.7v battery?
hey man, great video, im using what you did and building one that will count to 1 billion, it will take over 31 years to count that far btw
That is awesome!
Thank you so much you are a great teacher Sir !
If you add a preset or pot in your ne555 astable circuit, you can control the speed of counter
Nice video with excellent explanation. Kindly also make videos on controlling dual 7 segment display , triple 7 segment display and so on. Dual 7 segment display has 10 pins approx and triple seven segment display has 12 pins approx.
This kind of display needs microcontroller.
Ok which microcontroller and how to program it. If possible kindly make videos on that. Your all videos are very interesting and going on nicely. The way of explanation along with circuit diagrams and hardware connection in your previous videos is also excellent.
what if the input voltage is 5v and the voltage I'm giving to the reset pin is less than 5v. will it reset?
Great!!! Very informative for beginners. Thanks sir!
Most welcome!
Nice explanations !
Thanks a lot Bro.
Is there a down counter equivalent to make this circuit count down from a preset number?
Thankyou for tho tutorial...👍👍👍
if i connect big segment display should i adjust the value of the resistor sir? what is the use of capacitor in this kind of project if add one??
Can you do this with 5 Ic’s for 5 digital displays ?
Hey bro Are you from India?
If so from where do you buy ICs
Amazon?
I just want to know a reliable source for ICs in India
Yes, India 🇮🇳.
I've bought these IC from Chennai, ritchie street.
Some other offline sources are Kolkata, Delhi, Lajpat rai market. And obviously from Bangalore also.
@@EEWave Thanks man
@@EEWave Hey brother I can't go to any place and buy because of covid!
Do you by chance know any online site where you can get these components
Thanks...
Ignore if you don't have much idea about that
Don't wanna waste your time in that
I think Amazon is only online option.

Sir supposed to be add one switch more to used for the two player in playing chess what would be the connection of the other switch tnx sir for the video more power to your channel
Very good explaination liked very much sir if you can please show the circute diagram
Circuit diagram is in the video, please watch full video.
Pulse generating circuit is it astable Multivibrator?
Sir i have confusion of 1st IC pin no 1 should be connected to push botton after what should do I didnot understood so please reply sir
We provide clock pulses on the pin 1 of 1st ic. We take clock pulses from microcontroller, 555 ic pr any other ic. Here, I've shown with a push button switch. For more details, please watch "basic things of 4026 IC" video. I hope that video will help you.
Which IC to use for common anode 7 segment display?
2 and 6;8 as well, but I’m assuming it’s for emergencies
Very good explanation
Thank you
You are welcome
I use 9v power supply for 555 and 5v for CD4026 counter. Can I connect them together by sharing ground? I afraid that wrong wiring will fry my IC chip.
No problem, you can connect 9v to CD4026 also.
Hi man
Did you use a 9V battery for this while circuit?
No bro, I used 5v from my bench power supply.

Common anode or common cathode 7 segment display sir
These are all commom cathode display.
Watching for the second time can you make a circuit of electronic score board sir tnx
HELP! My display is stuck at 000 and not increasing even if i give pulse
Sir may i know if you want to decrease the counts what configuration of the circuit to add tnx sir
Please watch my video about MOD 4 or MOD 6 or etc. I already uploaded many MOD (4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 24, 32, 60) circuits. You will get to how to design.
hi sir i make a celling fan winding machin , i want your help for a counter mitter with read magnetik switch and auto cut few no. using realy
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you so much
Thanks❤
Thank you
You have not reply to me its ok friend any how i have made this counting meter with the help of your video and explaination I am thankfull to you very nice video it is very helpfull for me because i do fan winding work thankyou very much
I'm sorry bro for the late reply. Sometimes it is not possible to see all the comments. I tried to reply all of my viewers ASAP. By the way, I replied all of your questions.
Hi bro i want table fan winding machine 3digit counter with motor auto cut off relay help me bro how make circuit
Ok bro, I will make a video on this.
Thank you bro 🙏💕
Waiting for updates 😔
i wate youre vidio

How to make counter that counts in backward direction?????
This IC, 4026 is only for forward direction. I've uploaded a video, "Basic things of IC 4029", this video is on forward and backward directions. Please watch that video.
Pls upload down counter 3digit
Hai. bro 3digital counter circut .relay off please up load.waiting
hi can you make clock timer decade counter
If you provide 1Hz clock pulses to the circuit, then you will get clock timer decade counter. I've uploaded a video on how to make 100% accurate 1Hz clock frequency. Please watch that video.
What is current required this circuit
5volt
@@eripe2818 Volts are not 'current. Current is Amps.
Instead of putting a 220 ohm resistor on each counter output, is there a reason you are not putting that resistor instead on the cathode of the seven segment display? Seems to me that would be the same effect using fewer components- a common cathode for seven segments times three is three resistors on three cathodes, where you are using 21 resistors on the anode side of the circuit. Is there a reason you cannot lower the voltage for the seven segment display that way? Is there a reason you cannot put a single 220 ohm resistor in between all three common cathodes and ground? I see this on youtube... a lot. And I have read that it's incorrect, unless you have a reason it needs to be that way- things like different numbers of LEDS driven in sequence, or a mixture of LEDs with different voltages, stuff like that. Full disclosure: I am still learning, and I am not personally familiar with the counter IC you are using, which is why I am asking... this is a good faith question, please take it at face value.
Admirable question, loved it. I'll make a video on this with full explanations.
@@EEWave Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question- I will be checking out that video when you post it at some point in the future.
