Im 58 yrs old and I have been listening to the blues since i was around the age of 11. Always have loved the blues. Love Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Buddy Guy, Howling Wolf, Blind Willie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Charlie Musselwhite and many others. This two man group is awesome. I play harp myself and have been playing over 35 yrs and still consider myself average. Charlie Musselwhite is a grand master of the harmonica. And Ben Harper pretty much define the blues and together i consider them The Blues Brothers. I believe this style will always be around. Even John Mayer plays awesome blues. Many are keeping blues alive and this brings me great joy.
It's folk music, music of the people. No matter who does the blues. Every nation and culture on This Good Earth has its folk music and blues. Start layin' on capitals, as in Folk and Blues, it changes it. Dump the labels, this is damn good music! As the next commentor, Monk P, says, "HELL YEAH!"
It's awesome to see the humility and graciousness these guy portray. Two great musicians who seem to almost finish each other's sentence. Thanks for this interview!
I can't get enough of saying: Ben Harper is a very very deep musician. Unfortunately i don't know (yet) this older gentleman, but i can step a little further and say: These two guys are gold! I really treasure it!!!!!!
Very beautiful video Here in Germany we do not get much with states Which amplifier does Mr. Charlie Musselwhite play? Microphone? Thanks for the video

Good stuff! Kinda like pulling teeth interviewing some of these artists, huh? Oh well. Some just articulate best by leaving it in the music!
