Interesting film as usual. I recently flew Brisbane/HKG with Cathay in Business. Sadly not the Cathay Pacific I remember from 10 years ago. Old plane, dated interior and poor food. Flight attendant service was chaotic to say the least. Flew Emirates and Qantas on the same trip. The latter was a surprise and very good. Emirates as usual couldn’t be faulted. Happy travels!
One should always be won over by champagne and chocolate!! Seriously though, do you think their service and product have caught up to their price point? I've felt that there was too large of a gap between the two recently.
CX is about 2/3 the cost of Emirates on this route. But of course EK has the home field advantage with very impressive lounges in DXB. Business on CX is essentially double that of premium economy so you are paying a lot for that lay flat bed. I guess it comes down to how well you can handle a nearly 8 hour overnight flight.
Another great video from the "best of the best" in travel review videos....thank you! :o)
That dessert looked really tasty. Hope that you enjoyed your time in HKG. Cheers
also, look at all that construction in Hong Kong.. are they building new runways or something? So many cranes
It was very nice. And yes I had a good time in HKG catching up with my oldest friend.

Yes, CX’s service definitely seemed a little more relaxed and refined in years past.
