I wanna buy this bike... Just awesome... "Honda" the name is enough in terms of engine refinement... BTW bro... How much kms you've done in this bike? And what are your reviews regarding the engine life of this bike?
Hello Bro, I've done 40,000+ kms on my bike and it's still smooth as day 1. Honda is the king of refinement so don't worry and definitely go for it. I have few friends who even clocked more than 1,50,000 km on this bike, and they never mentioned any engine issues during the period of use.
@@exhaust_tales brother... As it is discontinued now... I've to buy a second hand... Can you prefer me which model (year) to buy... My purpose is for just commuting and a little bit for tours... And how much bucks will it cost me for a second hand, any idea?
Bro, it depends. The year don't matter actually. Try to find a good condition one from within your friend circle. I recommend you to get a ABS version. Around 1 Lakh you'll get a good deal.
Can you make a video on chain sprocket for city usage .... Like you might be aware as cbr user, that cbr needs continuous downshift to make momentum in traffic.... Its not like ktm that on 5th gear we can cruise on 30 kmph... i have heard that if we change sprocket teeth than its makes a huge difference.... Plz can you make a video on it ... 😊😊
Brother does it has enough grunt? And what abt initial? Bcoz people said that it's a little lethargic bike and might hesitate in giving you out right performance
It's kind of a unique bike brother. Below 4000 RPM the bike behaves like a normal 150 cc bike. The initial pickup is not comparable with that of Dukes and Dominars. But once the bike crosses 4000-5000 RPM it really jets to the high rev ranges. Revs really hard and crosses 100+ without any stress. Bike can do 130-140 all day long. Top end seems like 160+ for all stock bikes. There are videos in UA-cam which shows even 170-180. It is a rev happy engine so you'll enjoy highways more than riding in city. If you're looking for a sports tourer, definitely give it a try!
@@exhaust_tales Ohhh OK! Thanks for replying! Actually I want a used bike for my college and my budget is around 1.3l... I will only ride in cities. So will it be a good option for 2021? My other choices are SF, KTM 200 siblings, Himalayan and dominar etc
Welcome bro! For city only use I can't suggest this bike. If it is city+occassional highway trips then definitely you can go for CBR. For city riding the best bikes would be naked ones. I would suggest Duke 200 👍🏼
U will feel like riding cb shine till 4000rpm, after that it's on another level, best bike for female pillions whether mom. Or girlfriend. For grunt no 250cc bike can beat it. It has very tall gear 3rd gear does 108km/hr
Bro, imagine a boy who cannot afford a cbr 250 r in termes of mileage,so he buy cbr 150r instead of 250r .what is your opinion?can you reply for me? I am in this situation..
Hello Bro, Yes I understand your situation. But actually CBR 250 gives good mileage if we ride in a smooth manner. Around 30 in city and 35-40 in highways. If you get a good deal on a secondhand 250 (ABS), go for it. Otherwise you can still go for 150, it is a very good bike as well. Mileage will be around 40 for sure.
Yes there are vibrations but if its on higher gears you can control it to an extent. Also on higher rev band the bike definitely vibrates as it is only a single cylinder engine. I'll try riding at above 7k RPM on different gears and will test the case bro, and will update you later here with more specific answer.
@@siddj08 do you notice any noise from the engine side? Probably there'll be some issues with the Shim. My machine does not vibrates in any RPM. It's a 10 year old one.
When the CBR was launched in 2011 it had a premium price tag so sales was not that great. Only enthusiasts who knows about Honda refinement, quality and performance bought the bike. In our market only value for money products sell well. CBR was on a costlier side so it did not fair. Also Honda had amazing sales for Activa so they concentrated on that particular item only. Eventually they gave up on CBR, so no updates or facelifts after 2018.

Brother, I suggest to use only 10w30 or 10w40 grade as those are recommended by Honda. Anything beyond that may cause some issues with the engine components.
Stock sound is the best. That smoothness. Doing 100khp. Pure bliss
Exactly brother. We'll never get bored of it. After each ride I'm loving it more and more.

Is it better than RS 200 in speed, touring, pickup, and milage??
Yes it's definitely better than RS 200 bro 👍🏼
@@exhaust_tales then why!? Why does this beast have less value and honda isn't upgraded in India??

@@exhaust_tales if we buy it for second hand this is actually the real pocket rocket and not KTM.
If the priority is top end then CBR is the ultimate bike under 300cc category. KTMs have low end torque but CBR excels after mid range to top end.
