Fantastic response. Yes, the real question is between Hughes and Usman. Saying Usman is the GOAT of welterweight is not disrespecting GSP, its disrespecting Hughes more than anything. Also don't agree with you on one thing, Hughes beating Sakurai was huge. Hayato Sakurai is a legend of shooto and was arguably the greatest welterweight at the time. Hughes beating him cemented the UFC as having the best welterweight on the planet. That's a big win.

I would say gsp has the skill set to beat Usman prime vs prime. Gsp had a better jab then Usman, he had better takedown then Usman, he had a higher fight iq then Usman, he had a better coach imo then Usman however I think they are close in that aspect. They are equal in conditioning, Usman has a better chin then gsp. Gsp had way better kicks then Usman. Gsp had the best skill set in the ufc welterweight division. If you want a best of all time I would say 1. GSP 2. Usman 3. Covington 4. Hendricks Edit: the Hendricks I am talking about is pre usada
