Kinugsikugsi Dance (Manobo) performed by Salamindanao Dance Company

Salamindanao Dance Company (from Cotabato City State Polytechnic College/CCSPC) performed different dances during the COLORS OF COTABATO. This event is one of the activities of the 2017 Shariff Kabunsuan Festival of Cotabato City.
The festival runs from December 15-19, 2017.

and I am a matigsalug tribe from bukidnon. mapya adna manubu a kaped. Sir it's not good to abuse the steps and culture of manobos even those pumps are wrong. Its very modified steps. I can't even say that is a part of manobo.

Hello everyone. The dance is a product of research of my colleague before in PNU Mindanao, Prof. Ma. Chelo Galay Loque. It is kinugsik-kugsik. The dancers are imitating the movements of birds named Kugsik.

The lips of the danceres must be "protruding" like that of kugsik's beak.
