u need a Mysterious Crystal, then use the purple orb go inside the shark sub and click the sodas next to Nicky. After his text dissapears go outside through the hatch and head into the building where the orb for the garden is (use the crystal to activate it)
i got into the epic department discord but then it just disappeared form my account and could not get back in i know i I'm not in epic department but i should still be able to access the verify channel

I had the same issue, iirc if youre not in the ED group you cant view any channels in their discord server
